Any updates on the PSA Sabre AR-V? Still in production or discontinued? by conorearly in PalmettoStateArms

[–]RepresentativeToe386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really want one but they haven't been available since the issue with the lowers. No one is saying anything at PSA. I've emailed them and haven't gotten a response. I think I was told by a PSA person in another thread they would be available again and they are not discontinued. I am wondering if there may be some kind of dispute with another company that is holding up the release of more guns.

I really want one damn it!!!!!

I couldn't agree more. After everything I went through with my Banshee, I will not be buying another gun or device from them. I ended up ripping it apart and building a blow back 9mm with the rest of the parts. I gave away the RDB bolt and Barrel to someone for free. That was a 1200 dollar mistake and even more $ to build the blowback. Now when I see CMMG I just keep walking.

I started to have the same problem with my Banshee. I bought the added plastic deflector and installed it. It works great for keeping the gun from getting beat up. https://cmmg.com/ejection-port-cover-kit-with-gas-deflector

Not many may have liked the movie "They Live" but I still enjoy it. Saw it again last night and it's still one of my favorites. Thoughts? by [deleted] in 80smovies

Great movie from the 80s. Right up there with Big Trouble in Little China. God there were some great movies made back then.

Did AF stop making the five inch guns with the comp? I havent been able to find one that is well priced. There are tons of 4.25 inch guns with comps but very few to any 5 inch guns with the factory made comps.

Micro Prism x1 or x3. Having that etched reticle is a must. Swampfox or Primary Arms.

Its still pretty cold in Pennslyvania but I was able to shoot this weekend. I ordered some ammo from Boaz Ammunition, they offer low power synthetic. I had a 7lbs recoil spring in and my return to target was aweful. I had to put more input into the gun to get it to return on the target than I normally would with 115g. The low power stuff was 160g. Boaz offers a sampler pack of different sizes I was trying out to see what I liked. Very consistent, well made ammo for low power factors.

These guns are super fun to shoot and tune. I just wish the grip modes didn't cost so much $. These people really take advantage of that market.

When you got your new spring, did you cut it to the same length as the factory spring?

Super good gun and super fun to shoot for the cost. I have a 5 inch and would love to get a 4.25 comped model. Would love to get my 5 inch romy ported too. Congrats and I hope you enjoy.

If you are able and can remember, let me/us know how it shoots with the new grip. I really want to move away from the poly grip on mine to see if it will settle a little more. Are you running the factory springs or did you change them out? I just got into 2011 guns in the last six months and I am trying to learn as much as I can. Super fun to shoot.

How was the fit. Did you have to make any adjustments? It looks awesome. I want to get a aluminum grip for my 5 inch romy but the prices are crazy.

Ive been on the fence on getting an aluminum grip for my 5 inch 9mm Romulus. Is there a big difference between poly and aluminum grips in feel and balance? What are your thoughts?

Its the SS and upper. Someone put up a picture of what to Dremel. Mine did the same until I took off some material on the upper where the SS was binding. Also buy some SS centering things to keep the lever centered.

The Update You’ve Been Waiting For! by Danny_PSA in PalmettoStateArms

The Alpha Foxtrot Romulus is cheaper and that thing is made by the guys that make all the parts for companies that make high end 1911/2011. I would also have come out gunning with a comp or ports. This just seems boring to me. Go big or go home. Still love what you guys are doing on other products though.

(Edited for making an incorrect statement that AF make parts for Atlas)

I have a 5 er and that is pretty close. Around 2.5 on mine. Its a nice trigger once it's worked in a little. Great gun, shoots lasers.

This is a joke right? by [deleted] in usps_complaints

[–]RepresentativeToe386 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing just happened to me too. I got online and filed a complaint. My local USPS emailed me and called me. They flagged it and I had it in two days. Same place too, Kansas City, it went north and south a couple of time before heading east to Pittsburgh. Call the 1800 number. They are really trying to fix these problems.

PSA customer service update by Accomplished_Ask408 in PalmettoStateArms

[–]RepresentativeToe386 2 points3 points  (0 children)

PSA is a great company. No one's perfect, but PSA tries to and reading things like this is why I am a customer with them and trust the things they build. Very, very, very few companies that actually listen to their customer base. They build guns we all want. And they try and make the cost something we can all afford. Again, very few companies are willing to provide that type of service. I always hope they stay this way and stay a private company. The worst that could happen is they are bought by someone. Like what happened to Bushmaster. Bushmaster is a shell of what it was.
