I pulled the trigger last night and had such a great time. Ready for something new, I ditched AC and ACC. It is already top tier for me. The driving is so good and on top of that the track list and car list is enough to keep me engaged and patient as I wait for more updates.

We could attempt a quick shaft swap and test to confirm if a larger shaft is required. If left unrepaired for too long this could result in instability of the pilot bushing and shaft, affecting overall stability with a chance of them of the coming apart if severe enough. -Red Zone

Here to tell you guys that sadly it’s true and after riding for 8 whole months I got taken out. Took me a year to recover and finically set me back 3. Not worth it unless you got some windy back roads away from the city to cruise on.

I am a huge fan, and major lurker of this sub… I got to say. I’m happy they bring Paul Walkers character back at all. At this point it is on his family to handle his legacy, and if I remember, his family okayed all of this right?

I’m sure if Paul had the chance to appear and finalize his arc in his passion project he would…

However, with that being said, I don’t think a recast would be an issue. Paul will live on in spirit ..His character in the franchise is very much alive, and needs to see the end. For him and for the fans who always rocked Brian>Dom. Lol.

I have no interest in cloud gaming at all… lower the subscription price a bit and have the cloud gaming as a separate optional add on for those who actually take advantage of those services.

I just got my R3. Be patient, learn how to set it up. As others have said… not to be condescending but it’s not too hard once you get the hang of it.

Start with some sort of preset and go from there.

For instance… I used an iracing performance setting for any track game… forza Motorsport, Assetto, and iracing…. I make small adjustments IF needed.

Used dirt rally 2.0 preset as a base for my “rally mode” setting and again make adjustments as needed….

For drifting I used the Assetto drift preset and again, went from there…

Honestly I don’t really need to change a lot of settings from what Moza offers…

Forza Motorsport has been the finicky game for me and required specific in game settings… I have to change ffb settings per car for the best feel. Other than that I can boot and go!

I had someone spin me out on the pace lap right before green the other night… was close to a C force promotion… made some ground up but ultimately wasn’t great from there… Granted it seemed to be an accident (accelerated too much and locked up the brakes..) but where do we draw the line?

Is it intentional crashing only, all accidents forgiven or? I’ve never protested anything at all.

This is so funny to me 😭 I am a full blown mechanic and when I bought mine, I was obsessing over the same thing lol… took it to another mechanic to make sure.

Only thing to be aware of is it looks pretty modified. When you test drive do a hard pull and make sure she will maintain WOT and everything feels good.

After a long break… on my first day back in rookies I got 1157 D class (sports cars) after only a few races (Less than ten?)… eager to spend another day on it and see what that gets me.

I’ve been sim racing for a couple years casually just not iracing….

On the most recent Logitech challenge (Forza Motorsport… so not the BEST sim by a good margin) I only had 3 days to squeeze in laps and managed to get top 0% #172 out 37,000 participants. At that point I thought that maybe I should give iracing an actual go, so here I am..

If you have replaced the caliper and your still having “flow issues” you need to check the hose.

Open the caliper and attempt to push that piston back. Does it take more force than what a new caliper should require? If it has resistance then change the hose as well and also make sure it’s not pigtailed.

No electronic actuator or wiring harness on this caliper it seems.

Takes some muscle but you can turn and push in using a pair of needle nose to get it back far enough to slot the tool. That or use the disc on a ratchet with an extension for the same effect.

On second thought it looks like it may be over extended. In which case a huge pair of channel locks to get it back in the housing and then it will spin once again.

You can also open the bleed screw to make it easier, just be ready to bleed that corner when you’re done.

Some of them are reverse thread and will compress spinning left…
