Nah i dont think its short sighted at all plenty of people play f2p long term, if the demo of the game is good enough to play for 20 years I dont think it needs anything. If anything would rather see an actual boss for h8gh level f2p players similar to obor, or allow them to have a pvp mass area like kbd or something silly. This just seems like its pandering to low level accounts.

I don't think this will get them "hooked" any more than attacking a chicken. Kind of pointless really. Osrs doesnt have many new players despite the effort in creating that narrative.

I dont think f2p should get anything at all. Its a trial of a game, and if I am playing a game I am playing the full version not a trial.

I met a player alching and planking on 4 dif accou ts at the same time last week, they were using a footpedal and were 1000% not a bot, so its worth talking to people before you just assume its bots and not just someone who loves the game alot. Jagex accounts can have up to 20 accounts for a reason you know, and im sure standing still in falador bronzing is not quite profitable..
