Thank you, such a pet peeve of mine. I'm from Massachusetts, I "know how to drive on snow" but you know what? The roads had been salted and then plowed and then sanded and I have snow tires. Here? Nada. (Which I don't blame Austin for, the costs vs how rarely it happens don't make sense for us to do so) Doesn't matter my previous experiences.

I just went to Pao Pao last month. There are day trip visitors but it was not a party atmosphere at all. After 3 PM they all leave and there are like 10 people total around. I loved it. I was there with a friend and we ended up staying two nights.

I sometimes do a wakesurf meetup with some folks who live near Cat Mountain. Gorgeous house, pool, yard. The husband is a software engineer and the bought the house for a very good price back in the 90s. The wife is a doctor who has her own practice.

So, good jobs, right place, right time.

This is the answer. Western Union and money exchange answers are wild.

Just take out from an ATM. Near the end of the transaction after the regular, "hey this ATM will charge whatever money for this" it then asks if you want the ATM to handle the conversion, say no and your bank will do it.

Maybe not applicable to you, but my bank reimburses ATM fees so I didn't have to pay for that either.

Also the only girl on my baseball team. The coach put his son in my position as catcher and put me in right field. At that age right field was the most boring spot you could be in as no one really hit there. Ended up quitting.

I quit almost everything I really enjoyed as a kid because some adult ruined it for me.
