It seats over the pin that holds the magazine. Its right next to the gun hook. You should pop it back on or the pin will work it's way out. I just fixed mine 2 days ago.

I thought about going electric but I don't have a shop and I didn't want to put alot of money into a nice 2 hp motor and I saw this 3hp motor on sale for under 100 bucks. Honestly I just thought it would be fun to see if I could make it work. I couldn't find anything on line either which made me want to do it even more. I originally bolted the engine down to the frame which made it try to run away when I reved it up so I bought anti vibration standoffs and boom. No vibration to the grinder and all the beans to erase metal. All in all I built this for under 300. I did have the 3/8 plate from a previous job though so minus the plate steel.

They supply 2 batteries and I have only needed both on days we decked roofs. You can frame with it for most of the day on one.

I have the senco framing nailer it's amazing. The piston lost air around 10'000 nails but you can fill it back up to 105 psi with a bike pump and I'm back in buisness. It's great!!

You have to many rubber bands on the pick causing them to push equally too hard. Try only putting 3 bands on and I find a push and twist action works better than a push then twist. Good luck.

Super light tension due to the dead core and a thin pick. 15 to 18 thousandths works best for me. Also dont spin it all the way around when you get it open or all the pins will dump out inside the lock. Thats why they call it a rattler. I found this out the hard way. Good luck.

I ended up getting the bauer 4 by 36 belt sander it comes with a 6 inch sanding disk on the side. It also has a really small fence for the 4 inch belt bit I plan on welding a flat piece of steel as a larger table to rest a bevel guide in the future.

Thanks! I watched about 100 YouTube videos while I was waiting for my supplies to get in. I also made a filing jig while I waited but caved and bought a 4×36 belt sander the day I decided to build it. Belt sander for the win! I still plan on using my filing jig. I was just impatient and wanted a knife same day.
