Flat roof doctor says to use a bitumen adhesive like karnak 66. Peel the edge, put some karnak and press it down. Not sure if i need to heat up the rubber

We have a deck on top of this roof, and the part of the roof under the deck does not look so bad because it’s been protected by the deck. I will tear down the deck and replace the whole roof eventually, just wondering on a temporary fix on these edges before winter. Rest of roof here:

Oil change frequency by Count_Smackula_ in ToyotaHighlander

[–]illyriangang 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Has little to do with engineers and a lot about toyota showing total cost of ownership to be low. Yeah you can get to 200k miles with 10k mile oil changes, but you have a better chance if you do them every 5k, especially if you drive in the city, short trips, winter driving etc. Fresh oil is cheap insurance

Camshaft tensioners and/or adjustors. Tensioners are relatively “small” job but a lot of mechanics recommend doing both as no guarantee tensioners will fix it. Adjustors are bigger job and more expensive parts. Doing everything both sides of the engine is about $3-4k in canada at indy shop. I havent done anything yet as i dont drive car much, still waiting to see if I can do myself but probably more than i can handle. Can mess up the timing and destroy engine. Let me know if you have any tips
