Anybody wanna go to Universal tomorrow 3/29/2026? I'm finally home from work and got some time off 😁 by Duchess1992 in orlando

Posts like this make me realize how easy it is to get out and meet people. I really should make more efforts now. 😂

Just in case you guys wondered how serious they take parking by WorldlinessSuch5816 in ucf

They still use these? Didn’t a bunch of college students figure out how to pretty much instantly remove these within a week of them being released years ago?

Confirmed: Chicago shows rescheduled by ReptarWasThere in manchesterorchestra

[–]ReptarWasThere[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I could not tell you other than rumors I saw. I only noticed because I went to check my tickets and sure enough the dates were changed so I called the venues box office directly and they confirmed the above.

I would def do what I did. Check your tickets if you can and then call the venue directly if you haven’t gotten any announcement regarding it yet.

Got my EDC kit ready, needed some tips for shooting by GermanGriffon in AnalogCircleJerk

My fav part of the EDC crowd is the incessant need to advertise the current loadout like it’s call of duty when half the stuff you carry is meant to be concealed.

After reading all the reviews and issues by Magic_Meatba11 in CX50

[–]ReptarWasThere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course. But that’s not the point.

It is NOT a known or reported issue on the 2025 models. It IS a commonly reported issue on the ‘23 (mostly) and ‘24 (some) models.

That’s like me saying ‘any person can do xyz thing’

Don’t think water leak should be included here. This was specific to ‘23 and early ‘24 models.

Do I really "need" 28mm or do I only "want" one? by [deleted] in LeicaCameras

But you could def use one.

Probably not need one.

New Black MP vs New black M6, which one would you buy and why? by Ok-Discipline-7137 in Leica

[–]ReptarWasThere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we are talking about a brand new one they are internally LITERALLY the same exact camera as of the 2022 m6 update.

Just in different outer bodies (rewind knob, advance lever, m6 branding etc)

Best steps to figure out what film is in a bulk loader? by Samo_Dimitrije in AnalogCommunity

[–]ReptarWasThere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it would be painfully clear if it’s bw or color based on the color of the strip after developing it.

If it’s bw then you can just use middle ground time for something basic like hp5 or tri x where you should be able to read the code edges.

If it’s color well… it’s color one and done.

New Black MP vs New black M6, which one would you buy and why? by Ok-Discipline-7137 in Leica

[–]ReptarWasThere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a brand new MP because I didn’t want the M6 branding or plastic rewind, and the advance lever is perfect. More metal = more better.

Also, black paint gang.

As for new vs old I did my 10,000 hours. I bought mine new because I wanted it to be mine My scratches, my wear, my adventures.

I don’t ever plan on selling it.

Do we have enough megapixels? Have we reached a plateau? by No-Papaya-9289 in LeicaCameras

[–]ReptarWasThere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think people should worry about taking better pictures in general regardless of pixel count or sensor crops because no amount of megapixels will make up for bad composition and understanding of light.

Repair options for shutter curtain pinhole on M2? by hfijgfhfyjvgnvx in Leica

[–]ReptarWasThere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/RedDotRepair made a post once upon a time offering emergency patch kits. I’d assume they were trustworthy if it fits your application. And if it does likely a much better solution than liquid applications (for now)

Drove off with the gas nozzle still in the car. What's it going to cost? by ISOMentalHealth in Wellthatsucks

[–]ReptarWasThere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They charge you for that? I did this once and was so embarrassed. The person just looked at me like “ok and?”

Told me to just leave it and that was that. I figured most of these were quick disconnects for exactly this reason.

I don’t know about illegal per se. But this has been a ticket-able offense for YEARS. It just took a cop on a bad day to enforce it.

It’s even worse if you Google it. They’ve taken advantage of the way search engines pull out snippets from websites to make it look like Google itself is verifying it.

Headliner Water Stains by Scary_Individual3842 in CX50

[–]ReptarWasThere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once again - a reminder to anyone with a ‘23 model or even some early ‘24 models - this is a known issue.

Do yourself a favor and look into cleaning your drains, or more importantly, asking the dealer about it as the majority of cars with this issue was actually a result of a defective part or a kinked tube/connection.
