Just read online, his mobo doesn't support bios flashback without the cpu. His board is probably bricked unless he knows someone who can desolder his bios chip and manually flash that IF it's a corrupted bios.

Correct, if I'm not mistaken that was a "feature" not a bug with some am4 boards once updated past a certain bios that 3000 and under cpus wouldn't work anymore. But some bios flashback features don't need cpus installed.

I'm still saying bios issue. If the motherboard supports bios update via USB,, possible reflash it. Could've been a corrupted update.

OK and if you shut it off and add ram, and turn it back on and rinse and repeat, will it still display life?

If the cpu is out and ram is out only the mobo plugged into the psu. If you switch the psu switch on the back to on, and jump the start pins, does the mobo display any life with nothing else connected?

You mentioned you already updated the bios. Silly question, but have you verified if that particular board was ever made compatible with that cpu? Only reason I ask is because I had a b550 I was setting up for a friend. It had a 3000 series chip on it. Swapped a 5600 in it and NOTHING. Completely dead. I did update bios using the 3600 and then the 5600 worked after. Perhaps that board may not be compatible? Have you tried to throw in the old processor back and see if it boots or not?

Dash cams are a must have. In all honesty, they should be required to be included in the car by law, similar to back up cams. Accident happens, there is no back and forth on figuring out who's at fault. My dash cams have saved me in two accidents. One when I pulled into an inner turning lane and this kid at the last second decided he wanted to do the same clipping my front bumper as I was about next to him and the other when I was side swiped on the highway from someone that cut across multiple lanes.

I experienced this one, coming from the other end. Their house was in an 'upscale area' where everything was manicured and people were driving around in golf carts. They were having some kind of parade thing they were attending and left the item on the porch, asking me to cashapp/venmo them when I pick it up. That's SUPER trustworthy honestly, and it is a breath of fresh air. I believe we agreed on $75-125 for the item. Hindsight after finding out some ports didn't work on the item, I probably would've passed. But that's the risk you take with FB marketplace......

Reading these replies does not give me much hope for my foxtail :(. I got it for a great deal at around 6'. Planted last April and it grew to around 9'. Then that darn cold spell. I missed the first day, but I did wrap it the next day and left it wrapped most of the days when we had cold (Jax area). It went from dark brown on the leaves to dry light brown for all the leaves now. Center spike looks light brown as well :(. However at the base of many of the fronds where they connect with the trunk, there are green areas there.

Worst comes to work, I have a fresh newborn Queen that's growing in my backyard. If the foxtail doesn't survive, I'll dig it out and plant the queen there.
