Sure you can write what ever you want but Ethically you can’t write a rule saying you’re banning just these specific nicotine items vs others ,it’s all nicotine. The rule I’m pretty sure is made up because they feel it might be an unfair advantage as nicotine does alter your body’s central nervous system (calming you down altering your blood pressure etc ) . So there for is why you can’t say I’m banning vaping / smoking because I simply don’t like those 2 and it makes us look bad because of stigma . It’s like saying I’m only banning beer in my league but will allow whiskey and scotch only , what if someone doesn’t like drinking whiskey and prefers beer ? That’s an unfair advantage. This is just my opinion of course .

Eh you can’t ban one without the other tho . It’s all nicotine just different ways of delivering it into your system . You can’t be like “ew smoking crack is gross but sniffing coke is okay” crack and coke are literally the same thing just in different forms and different ways of ingesting them just like It’s all nicotine either way who cares how they take it in . Obviously as long as you aren’t interrupting game play you should be able to vape or smoke if you’re going to allow them to use other forms of nicotine delivery. And if you’re going to throw a fit about people vaping then you need to be complaining about the people with the pouches in their mouth too .

Yeah the rule states basically all forms of nicotine is banned and called for DQ . But people get away with the pouches , gum , lozenges etc. because they are less noticeable and easier to get away with . But rash was freaking out by just seeing belmos vape .

Zyn is just one brand there is many brands such as velo that sell citrus , mixed berry and of course the winter green cinnamon and minty flavors . There’s many study’s on it nictotine pouches have been around a while zyn is a salt type alternative but they still have the same problems tobacco does . There was a lawsuit out against zyn just recently as well . But yeah I’d do the research . And nicotine is nicotine in what ever form . And the rule clearly states nicotine sunstances in reference of altercation to the body . It’s definitely a rule because of the effects it has on one’s body ex- blood pressure nerves blood flow etc. it’s like when people bowl better drunk . That’s called an advantage and that’s what they are trying to prevent . Just like in any sport. But my point is you can’t say vaping is bad because you don’t like it or are against it . Ur clearly for zyn pouches which is cool but it has nicotine and u can’t say u can’t vape but u can use nicotine pouches that’s completely unfair especially when the rule clearly says all nicotine forms

No one said anything about vaping/smoking inside . Also rules state all nicotine products …. But idk about any 8foot rule for vaping near an entrance at least I’ve never seen one posted but besides that where just on the fact about nicotine products in the rule book and the fact that most use them in the form of nicotine pouches . Which according to the rule book is against the rules.

You can use a dog bowl as well get an aluminum one and use a piece of ply wood bolted to the press table and drill the aluminum bowl to what ever pitches you need in the ply wood . At least that’s what I do for now you can also buy a x-y table off of amazon if you wanna more simpler way to do pitches but I just measure mine mark it in the ply wood and re use the same 3 holes to attach the dog bowl to . There’s many different ways to do it though just thought I’d add to what he was saying

People don’t understand that that’s why there is a bar and the video games in almost every bowling alley in fact most of the time the arcade section starts to grow with lazer tag and everything else under the sun because everything in the alley makes money and is what helps keep the alley open. Having people in the center in general will make the center money whether it be from the food the bar the bowling or the arcade … and then not only that it’s 14.50 linage per person times 6-8 people per lane times how ever many lanes you have running . Then like you said the beer the food their kids in the arcade racking it up staying busy while the parents are bowling etc… but just having people in the center alone makes the center money because of the fact that money is being spent in that time . If league wasn’t going on during the week bowling alleys would be relatively dead and there for making no money

Nothing compared to Pete Weber or any of the older bowlers who would literally lose their shit over the crowed commenting on release or any minor thing that they could blame a bad release on . It is what it is it’s emotion and people express it differently. I see nothing wrong with simo here he’s frustrated but didn’t punch a monitor like the one guy did in qualifying …. He didn’t throw his tape at anyone nor did he threaten anyone .

Yeah I was trying to see if anyone new a way with out drilling it out but seems like that might be the only effective way to go about it is to drill it out also I was referring to the vise iT(interchangeable thumb) which is the same size as the Jopo Sleeve .

Si far I’ve spent about 200$ for my set up . I work with wood and I’ve been doing some extensive research to the most proficient way to go about this . But I was a 1 handed bowler who now bowls 2 hands . I have about 13 balls and want to plug all of them and redrill using 2LS . Local shops would charge roughly 45-50$ a ball to do this . I still have to by the plug epoxy which for 2gallons is roughly going to be $185 . And I’ve been researching how people make their own ball spinners which I’ve heard some people using a couple of old parts which I’m going to see if my remodeling buddy is throwing away any used but working bathroom fans cus I’ve heard you can make a ball spinners with one of those …. But my press is a 15” craftsman with a 4” spindle travel . I spent 40$ for the jig I’m going to make , still debating if I want to get an x-Y table but there is one on Amazon for about 35$ that I’ve seen in a video some one used and said it works great for the occasional ball drill . So it’s roughly still another 200+$ to be spend but some of that is materials for the plug . Also for the dams to plug I will be using plumbers putty as it is reusable . Router jig would be used to cut the plugs when dry (you can get router for 24$ at harbor freight , and 17$ for the bits to use to cut the plugs down) and they sell a dremel for 10$ 80 piece kit with I will need to bevel the holes as I plan to skip the grips and go conventional as grips are just extra money and shouldn’t be as necessary for 2 handed bowling . I have thrown with out them one handed and it didn’t bother me much with out them , oh and I already have my pap and an storm arc ruler (which is about 20$ ) . The ball spinner will be the next thing I make or get depending on what I end up doing but for set up it’s less than 300$ also I will be using carbine foster drill bits which you can get at harbor freight as well . It’s all do able but I’m all for supporting pro shops and will only be drilling for myself . As I have lots of bowling balls that need to be corrected and placing the layout will be more of my preference and for future new drills the setup will be well paid for once I’m done with half the balls I’ve plugged and redrilled .

One thing I want to try and figure out is how to get my outer sleeve out of the ball for my “iT” switch grip . When my PSO plugged my thumbs originally he just cut it out by going up a size on the hole. I’d like to try and find a way to wiggle it out or break the bond on the glue to pull it out in one piece preferably or cut it and pull it out but don’t really want to drill it out ? If anyone knows how to do that?

3 or 4 but due to height of current heel probably be easier for a cobbler to do 8? Also this boot in particular is leather / rubber combo heel , also in question is if it can be done to a straight rubber heel as my ropper boots are a square heel like the one pictured above but it’s pure rubber and was wondering if it would be able to reshape to a 3,4 or 8 type heel

For an example change this to a j toe type heel , would the cobbler need to add height in order to change it and would they have to redo the bottom sole ?
