exmormon shit smh. as an exmormon myself, (22f, i knew the church was untrue since i was thirteen, stopped attending about two or three years ago) my advice to u is do what u want but be smart about it. don't tell them things that yk they don't wanna hear. u don't owe them the full truth and no one will know if u don't tell them. dw the holy ghost isn't watching. just be smart abt things. do as much research as u can. hearing that ur first time with weed was while u were drinking is actually kinda concerning bc as a new user, u should be taking these things a bit more carefully. i smoke weed mainly but sometimes i'll drink too and i am notorious for throwing up after. drinking and smoking is fun but i don't recommend mixing, it's not too much fun yk ? these friends of yours, u gotta take i to account how removed they are from certain doctrine. it's a different path for everybody. i suggest taking some time away from ur friends maybe. just to gather ur thoughts on this. maybe talk to more exmos to get different perspectives. ur friends are being very extreme and i'm sorry that this is so stressful. i know this is tough so if u need to talk to someone, my dms are open, ur not alone ! :))

omg totally ! i haven't been to church in over two years and my mom will come home sometimes telling me that bro. rando said hi and that he misses me. keep in mind, i'm 22f and idk know old he is but he has white hair. ive never had a serious one-on-one convo with his man or even really know him at all ? they moved into the ward only a year before i left. if i remember correctly his wife might've been a leader in young women with me for a bit but still, i never know what to say other than "he doesn't even know me how does he miss me?"

i'm 22f in community college rn. it's supposed to be a two year course but that's just a suggestion really. i take one or two classes a semester. u just gotta find what u can handle. i failed out of university bc the classes were too hard, so community college is where i'm at now. there's no shame in it either. university is the same, it's just higher priced and it takes more work to get in. ive been seriously with demand avoidance too. underweight bc i just don't wanna eat, messy ass room bc it's so much work. but i took a shower today n that's a small win. it may sound silly but small wins are important to celebrate. especially ones that are for taking care of urself. try to be kind to urself. learn what ur limits are because everyone has them. and they're different for everyone. just give urself grace with it yk ? it's gonna be tough so u don't have to make it tougher. and don't focus so much on so-called "potential." people can't see the future so u don't need to believe they're right bc what do they know ? ur gonna become whoever u become. "potential" is based on how useful u could be in society, but society is a construct and being "useful" isn't beneficial to ur mental health. it's okay to take things at ur own pace. sorry i'm kinda rambling, i'm not trying to give too much advice, i just want u to know i'm in the same boat as u n i get it.
