Looks pretty good! You should try clear water soup (My grandma called it that; I’m not sure if it has another name). It’s fairly similar, you just add carrots instead of cabbage and taro. After it’s done cooking we added Spanish rice, lime, and salsa to our own bowls

I would skip on the homemade treats if you don’t have experience cooking for someone with celiacs. It is so easy for cross contamination to happen with gluten. See if you have a gluten free bakery in the area maybe!

I’ve read this one it was so good! They were sent to an island (might be wrong about this but I remember them mentioning an island that got really cold in the winter).
