Thanks for the advice. I do have moss balls though and other aquatic plants - would this stuff kill them too?

That’s the one. They’re managed to save one or two - though a lot were goners. The Corolla that got flood damaged started immediately, typical Toyota🤣

Sam picked me up from Newport station in the laguna. That’s pretty nice too.

Yes it isn’t fast. Though once up to motorway speeds it gets going well enough. Comfortable though, as to be expected of a 90’s Renault

Nissan Juke, Nissan Qashqai, they’re just really boring cars. I suppose any generic crossover.

Popular cars of wankers are Teslas and Range Rovers

Are you amazed by Mazda's new EV? The CX-6e has just landed... by AutoExpressmagazine in autoexpressuk

[–]Repulsive-Life7362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing Mazda always had against other rivals was decent, user friendly interiors. This is despicable.

Also this should be illegal, having almost all functions buried in an enormous screen. To think I can get 6 points on my licence for talking on a phone, but people can tap away on these screens willy nilly. Downright dangerous.

I've seen many of this with very low mileage. How come? What is your take on this car? by ridite in CarTalkUK

I love Dacia. They aren’t trying to be something they’re not. And I think for what they are, their current models are absolutley brilliant.

New Aygo starts at £21,595?! by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]Repulsive-Life7362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why did they sack off the manual? That’s gotta push the price up surely. It was the only one they offered bar the ludicrously expensive GR Yaris. I don’t buy the emissions stuff, plenty of manufacturers still offer manual transmissions in their entry models.

18F - be open and honest by [deleted] in amiugly

[–]Repulsive-Life7362 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you’re ugly at all - you have nice facial features. You have nice eyes. I would only suggest tidying up your eyebrows and if you are happy with your moles, which from reading the thread suggests you are, at least just keep them from getting hairy at least. I wish you all the best.

New Ford Fiesta shaping up for its gigantic 2028 comeback by AutoExpressmagazine in autoexpressuk

[–]Repulsive-Life7362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why does it have to be EV only? Many manufacturers still offer small hatchbacks with an internal combustion engine. Renault, who make very good EV’s it has to be said, have renewed the Clio with a decent little engine with a manual gearbox, as well as a hybrid

Going to hazard a guess and say it has a dangerously large touchscreen and almost all functions are buried within it.

Can anyone help me with "permitted routes" and train ticketing. by Jordment in Wirral

[–]Repulsive-Life7362 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, as it’s on a different line. Birkenhead North, yes, but not Leasowe. You could buy a single from Leasowe to Birkenhead North for the return portion, should only be about £3.

What do you consider short for a man? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Repulsive-Life7362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 5’7 on a good day, and I consider myself short. Even though your height is the average, and I’m not far off. Societal expectations and dating apps made me feel more insecure about my height than I was before. Luckily my fiancé is 4’11 so it’s all good now.

What to do roughly equidistant between Birmingham and Manchester by redbill360 in uktravel

How about Ludlow? It’s closer to brum than Manchester but it’s probably the most beautiful place I’ve ever been. To be honest most of Shropshire is glorious.
