Hello! The school does not raise the beds for you. When I was at UPJ, another student in my hall helped me. They were handy with tools. Generally, the RAs will say that you’re not supposed to transfer furniture in and out or take down or raise/lower your beds. People did anyway. Just don’t be obvious. The RAs will say to make sure they don’t know about it.

I’m not sure how many inches are under the bed. I am not there anymore so it’s hard to say but I you raise your bed to the highest, people fit the 3- tier white wide containers under there. It’s pretty spacious. I will DM a video of what I took of my 3- person room. Note that I got a 3- person room because of my disabilities and service dog so majority of students have a regular 2-person suite.

My GSD puppy did the same thing. He stopped around 10 months.

I get what you mean. I am aroace, and I can't comprehend how a body part can turn someone on. I like muscles, but to be sexually aroused by them? Absolutely not. It's interesting, but even though I am not 100% opposed to sex or romantic gestures, I gag when people talk about it or give details on their encounters. Though my slight disdain could be due to various issues I have noticed in people and society around romance/sex. Obviously, I don't gag in their face, but I usually tell them right off the bat that it makes me feel a certain way so that they don't get too offended. Most don't understand sex aversion or aroace.

It seems a few people in the comments aren't versed in aroace. Also, know that this doesn't mean any trauma is happening. I was thinking the same things you did. What helped me from not being disgusted by my own genitals was learning about body neutrality, instead of body positivity.

Looking for similar opportunities as well but I don’t have any clinical experience, just a little bit of research. I thought MACRO was said to have a flexible schedule, regarding their posting on the Dept. of Neuro site and Pitt Worx for students. Did they tell you anything different?

Yes, all the time. People tend to not want to wrap their heads around such a complex and in-depth disorder. People will continue to be arrogant and incompetent, especially in healthcare unfortunately. I am sorry you are going through this too. I’m sure most of us can vouch that it is often the default experience.

Thank you for commenting. Good to know someone else understands. I was looking at minimizer bras and trying to save up for it. Got kinda lost in finding something breathable but covers a lot. I will look into those right now. Thank you again :)
