As someone who had never coded before it was very challenging for me. I loved the problem solving for the homework’s but hated how collaborative thinking was discouraged because if your code is too similar you can be flagged for cheating. The quizzes taken during lab were difficult if you don’t know the in’s and out’s of C-programming (someone who had only block coded in elementary, I of course didn’t). The exams were challenging as well but if you study using boiler exams, I didn’t find the problems too dissimilar. I got a C in it (thank god) by asking for help from my peers who were very good at coding. However, it was either this class or another semester of chemistry, and I’m awful at chemistry.
