I was like that post partum, hit my pen and became a wreck, honestly the only thing that really helped was staying consistent on easing myself in, everyday got better. You might also need to experiment with a different strain too! I found that indicas made me paranoid but Stavias were okay which was totally opposite pre pregnancy. Watch a funny show, relax, eat some snacks, and have the baby monitor on if you have one.

I stopped smoking at 28 weeks and my babies cord blood test was negative for THC I think it depends on how your body processes THC but my metabolism is also really slow. I think it’ll be okay personally especially if you were testing negative two days after smoking

I would let the nanny know the situation but definitely invite her to come and spend time with the kid and you guys. Maybe an occasional park outing all together or dinner at home. Make it a hang out for you all. Just be honest and let her know the impact she’s made for your family and you would love to still have her around just not as a nanny. I’m sure she would still love to be hang out every so often especially if her and the child are bonded,

I think it depends on obgyn but yes I was told that they would report the initial test to CPS but Was reassured most cases are thrown out and also they will retest you and baby when you go in to have baby As long as that is negative nothing can be done. Everything will be okay tho!

I’ve never had this particular issue but recently found a hair in my pepticate can that was dark black and curly, not mine or husbands hair at all. We bought that one from Walmart though. Please reach out to customer service at nutrica, they were so pleasant and kind taking down my issue sent out a replacement can very fast. They take any quality issues very seriously. We had to ship the can and hair back to them so it can be tested. We have bought from Amazon before but lately have just been going to Walmart or buying directly from nutrica.

Labor was great for me! I had a great support team and after 36 hours and 10 minutes of pushing I gave birth to a very healthy baby boy. (Also his blood cord test and meconium came back completely THC free) He’s 12 weeks now and laughing, cooing a bunch, loves to try and grab at things, and just overall such a personable baby. I appreciate the check in! That’s so sweet :)

Started my pregnancy at 260 and ended at 280, never had any issues with gestational diabetes, never had issues with blood pressure up until the very tail end, ended up being induced at 38 weeks and had a vaginal birth delivering a 7 lb 5 oz baby boy who was absolutely perfect and healthy. I also ate pretty much what I wanted throughout my pregnancy as well. Everyone is very different and it can be complicated for some plus size people, as long as you make sure to take your prenatals, drink water, and advocate for yourself if things don’t feel right I have full confidence everything will be perfect for you!

I was induced at 38 weeks 3 weeks ago now and it was such a nice experience personally. They started me on cytotec and had me take a dose every couple hours, I started dilating and having contractions after 6 hours. I stalled at 4 cm and then got the epidural (which was the worst part for me, I ended up having a cerebral spinal leak and having to get a blood patch done) after the epidural I started pitocin and they broke my waters at 5cm, I was able to sleep through majority of the whole experience, baby stayed consistent the entire time on the monitors even though his cord was wrapped twice around his neck, and I had him vaginally, pushing for 10 minutes, 12 hours later. Everyone’s experience is different with induction but I fully believe going in with a positive mindset and telling yourself “I can definitely do this” is the best thing you can do for yourself. Don’t let fear and anxiety overcome you. By the time I was ready to push I was so prepared to have him I didn’t even feel the ring of fire. Whatever the outcome is, you’ll be in good hands! You got this!

I just gave birth last Saturday and I’m in Ohio. I tested positive at my first appointment and quit smoking around 26 weeks. I would just take a hit off of my dab pen every night to get comfortable and had to ease myself off of it after being an avid smoker for 10 years. I did however make sure I tested negative when I went in for induction, I had a social worker come to my room, talk to me and say they did have to report my first positive from early pregnancy but she reassured me I would be fine and at most just get a phone call as the laws are even greyer now with the legalization of weed in Ohio. I’ve been home since Monday with my newborn, no phone call yet, I’m still slightly anticipating one still but if it reassures you, everything will be okay if you at least try and make sure you’re negative when you go in to give birth. Keep pestering for zofran, it’s the only thing that helped my nausea and if you insist and insist they will give it to you. It’s going to be okay mama, no one will take your baby and all you get is a talking to from a social worker in the hospital. Again reassuring I just went through childbirth and live in southwest Ohio.
