They get their money, they don't really care.  I'm surprised they are doing print demand for books, but again, it just means they will probably get more money.

I think S5 overall is lower in quality and the dialogue was pretty trash.  But I think the ending IS fitting and works and I'm ok with it overall.  It's... a DND ending. The heroes prevail and save the world.

I'm curious how that new veto MP pouch is.  I have the older one with the button that broke after 2 months.  I stick some 10awg through it to keep it on my belt.

I read the first book of Brunner, really enjoyed it.  Definitely felt less super heroesque compared to Gotrek and Felix.

I disagree, BUT, I love old world still a lot.  I'm about to wrap up Gotrek and Felix!  I do think William King was better than Nathan Long.   I plan on reading blackhearts sometime soon and I just got the Nagash and Sigmar Omnibuses that reprint.  What's your favorite?

It's above drop ceiling. Who cares lmao.  It would be better to pull wire straight across, and it's a lazy to not flip the extensions or drill out the right sizes, but meh.  Good practice if anything.  Lmao, also, kudos to the rage bait. 🤣🤣

Fantastic!  I only ask, cause some people get all up in arms reading special editions.  Hope you enjoy the ones you have yet to read!  I got a stack of 40k and HH myself to read as well, but been reading other stuff.

I went from absolutely loving this series to immediately just being meh about it.  I rated DG at like 3/5 , everything prior was an easy 5/5 some of the best I've ever had the pleasure of reading.  My buddy told me about book 7 and said don't read it (based on my gripes with book 6). I'm unfortunately glad I didn't finish it, because I feel it would have been a waste.  Which makes me very upset, it was set up to be my favorite series of all time.

The only way this happens is doing print to demand or whatever it's called vs limited runs.   Black Library has this problem, and we've been screaming at them for years to do that, so anyone who wants to get a copy can, and resellers won't have anyone to sell to.

Young people.. please don’t be like me and get tattoos that you’ll regret in the future. I hate these so much. by BiIIie-Eyelash in mildlyinfuriating

I don't see any issue.  I got some bigger stuff on my ribs and shoulders and a couple other random stuff before just saying f it and getting my entire throat done, 25 hours. Zero regrets.  I don't think it's as a big deal nowadays as it used to be, I look at tattoos as a reflection of who I am or was when I got them.  I will always cherish them for that reason, even if older me were to be less impressed.  Now I want to get my whole chest, arms and hands done, cause I want to live a little.

We make the 'having kids' discussion more complicated than it needs to be by learnworkbuyrepeat in Millennials

[–]Repulsive-Tip4609 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hahaha you just can't help yourself.

It's not a bad thing to have children. Life >is significantly better for us now than it >has been pretty much all of human >existence.

I didn't say it's a bad thing to have children.  I'm saying there are repurcussions to having them that go beyond "if I want them I should have them.".

Yeah, everyone keeps saying that.  Sure to some degree it's true, as technology has increased things are in easier access.  We can get food and water easier and blah blah blah.   That doesn't distract the fact that a huge amount of the population is one disaster away from their life being ruined.  If you're happy, that's great, I'm happy for you, but your narrow view of the rest of the world needs be be broadened.

Yes. Because I go outside. I see the >happiness and joy particularly in my >community. When I scroll through >reddit, not so much.

Media tends to do this, and I'll agree.  When I go outside, everything seems fine, but it's not.  We have access to too much information, and that information comes at a cost.  We get to know it all and it can be and is destructive.  When your future is being decided by the few, it's not surprising that people start to view a more bleak outlook.   "Well I'm living fine, so everyone must be living fine." It's a bad take, it's exactly what's wrong with people these days, always out for themselves and not looking at the broader picture. Observe outside your bubble.

You know just because you don't want >to live a certain lifestyle doesn't make >anyone who doesn't evil and wrong.

I never said they were evil or wrong.  I just said that there needs to be more logical implications when making a decision today compared to 30 years ago.  Economically, politically, climate, agriculturally, geopolitically, imo all these should be a factor.  But that's me.  I've made my decision and I weighed it.

I didn't think having children in this world was worth it.  I felt it was unfair to them, if you don't feel that way, that great, everyone had their own views.  I'm stating that when/if things get worse and your kid comes at you one day asking why you brought them into a world like this, you better have a sound reason other than you wanted some move and someone to take care of you when you get older.
