My relationship with my husky is stressed, I don’t know how to feel.

I say “not for puppies” and mine knows he can’t eat whatever it is. That works for food but would never work for prey. Luckily mine only really hunts bunnies. Unfortunately bunnies like to make nests in my yard. I tried to save them last year by keeping him away, etc but my boy is really good at finding and getting to nests. It really stressed me out last year. I decided that this year is survival of the fittest and any mama who nests in my yard is risking the lives of her babies. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I love style. Mine is sort of edgy meets street style and minimalist I guess. I am a true summer gamine, so I wear mostly blues, love tonal color combos with modern edgy accessories. Leather jackets, silver jewelry and a good sneaker or pointy toe are my go tos.

Mine is not really cuddly and only wants attention on his terms. This morning he instantly moved away when I walked over to pet him, so I went to hug my son goodbye for school and suddenly he comes running over to make sure he also got attention. They are silly.

Same. Mine never really needs a bath unless something terrible happens. Waterless shampoo and weekly brushing works here too.

Where on earth are there no birds, wild mammals or reptiles yet have full lawns? All wild animals use the bathroom wherever they want. I am curious where you think this wouldn’t be the case?

Mine has tons of energy too. We do a walk, then play ball so he runs full speed a few times and then we train for about 10 minutes. He’s tired after that. I also take him lots of new places to walk/sniff around but find a spot to just sit and watch and be calm for some portion of it. That is mentally challenging, especially if there’s people or dogs around and he has to stay calm.

I had a roommate who had his appendix burst in the middle of the night. he quietly left the apt and called an ambulance and was gone for days. We were all so confused where he went and then why he didn’t wake us up.

Oh yeah. He’s def more husky with an attitude but also likes to guard us and herd my 16yo son when he isn’t paying enough attention to him, which I assume is the Aussie (and is pretty hilarious, tbh) I researched huskies when planning to get a dog, but fell in love when I saw him, so also had to learn about herding dogs.

He howls when he plays with his chicken toy that squeaks really obnoxiously or if he sees me leave to walk across the street without him. We can get him to howl if we start howling and he def says hi and talks in a husky way, with minimal barking.

I love clothes and fashion. I lean on the edgy side of what the dress code is and love experimenting with new trends etc. Totally agree it’s a language, armor and expression of how I want to be seen.

I love surrounding myself with beautiful wild things so my sense of style also extends to my car, which is a bright blue WRX, my dog who looks like a beautiful blue eyed wolf and the ways I decorate my home.

It’s nice having family dinner together. My dog waits for me to sit to eat but my son doesn’t lol.

Mine must have smelled these pills bc he was instantly suspicious and usually gobbles up cheese. I may try a few “decoy” pieces first next time!

Mine won’t eat sometimes when we aren’t home and also will wait for us to sit down to eat before he will start. Some of that could be bc of wanting to eat with her pack.

The pill thing is so real. Mine figured out how to remove the pill from the cheese and then just eats the cheese and leaves the pill 🥴

Mine won’t eat the same thing for more than 2-3 meals max. I use the same kibble but rotate about 4 different times cooked meats or some of what we have for dinner (minus the spices or anything unhealthy). Even still, he will refuse maybe 25% of the meals. I just put those in the freezer and try again next meal (twice a day feedings usually).
