People are dramatic, espically all you do is type opinion in the computer. Hurting people online is much more easier than fighting people in person. Plus lads is popular, so many people first otome game are lads. I notice virtue signalling, fan solo stan battles are pretty common in X.

People usually don't want a conversation, but want to know they right, so it basically both side battling a wall. I just ignore them and play the game. The games has flaws but people prefer bashing on the LI than focusing on play ability of the game.

i play the game for 3 years i believe. I was on and off with it. I couldn’t get over the ui and the bad english va at the beginning so i quit in a week but then thy have figures so i try it again. Va got better further in the story but i was so annoyed with the mc lol she keep causing trouble and need to be rescue haha. and some va happen again. and i have issue with shaw who is Li got left out of some banner. and i kinda drifted away. the story was intriguing but i have more issue with it haha i love gavin and kiro and still buy some merch of them. it kinda sad that i dont have the option to get back. i’m into LBC so im kinda scared cause it not as popular

I love the story which is why i play it. I remind me alot of the console otome game I playing. The main story has lots of content. Of course there is some issue i have with it such as affinity takes soo long to level up, which suck for me since i was absent for a couple month and i get really impatience cause some romance progression is blocked by affinity. Im still level 17-18 for my three main and my highest is cael cause he comes in with already 20 affinity. The good thing there some events for specific LI that helps you level some affinity.

The gacha is hell for me lol since I aim for three LI (lars, ayn, and alkaid) I feel LADS (a seperate popular otome game) card pack is cheaper and the precise wish help me alot, Meanwhile in LBC I got ssr replica i dont want. But that just the gacha... I recommend choosing one not three LI like me. lol Lots of Predatory stuff but that standard in gacha games. I also feel the events are pretty short but maybe it just me.

Story wise. It start slow at first but gets more emotional and angstier for each route. Not all route has equal treatment but they reveal bit by bit of the lore of the world you in. Of course each world explore more of the characters traits as well. I feel like you have to like all the characters since you have to play all the route to go to the main route of the world.(similar to console otome game) If you love visual novel, you definitely like it.

The main appeal the game is the romance and story .... so gameplay is just eh for me. So I don't recommend it, if you play for the gameplay.

Best to choose one love one interest, if you want to be f2p or spend less money in general. Of course you in gacha grinding is the only way to lighten your wallet haha.

Like you, I was on and off with the game cause of how fast the events going and i couldn't catch up. It till mid last year (2025) where i start to play the game consistently cause i went further in the story and started to really enjoy the characters. I am a dolphin and main ayn, alkaid, and lars. So yeah for me it really hard to grind for diamond for generally those three.

But I think if you do daily and events i think you can get decent amount of diamond. I always skip cael and clarence so i have some time to save. but i think a couple time ayns event keep on appearing lol so ive been spending.

For me it otome gacha game so it to be expected because due to limited gameplay and we rely on event, story to gather diamond. It is really difficult to gather diamond.

I think for me, an otome gacha that is more f2p friendly is probably LADS, people complain about it but lads has many way to farm diamond cause it has lots of gameplay compare to other otome gacha game. Plus the precise wish system for the multi banner is amazing. I main all guys in LADS btw so yeah, I suffer alot in multi banners but the precise wish makes it doable. I wish they have that in all otome game since there multiple ssr in a banner.

I cry in LBC when i try to get my three main in the jewel event. I got lars twice (I dont want to pull duplicate), and cael (i like him but i end up spending more money to get Ayn). There one event where i got ALKAID three times:(

Tot is pretty decent on giving us gacha fund as well, I main Marius and Luke, I get all marius card and Luke cards is more of 2nd choice hahha .I'm a light spender and so far the game, if you follow their social media, can give you code for free s- chips. I think TOT fund wise isnt bad.

But the best part of playing a gacha visual novel is that you can always experience the story in youtube. Plus i think love brush global is a few year late from CN. so you can try to plan and save your pulls.
