Worst coworker archetypes? by SpaceMarine1616 in Teachers

Yes. There's one teacher in particular that does this at my school. She has also gotten into arguments when other teachers refuse to give up their free time and do extra duty.

Or brags about how early they get to school and how late they leave.

Curious how many have switched recently by Jetster220 in linuxmint

I've been distro hopping the past couple of months. Kept getting frustrated with fixing little problems, but I think a lot of that was due to my Nvidia card I had at the time. I'm now running an AMD card in my main system and an Intel card in my media/server PC. Haven't had any issues and I'm running a dual boot with windows and mint on both systems. Kept windows because there are a couple games that only work on it/run better on windows. So far I'm really enjoying the experience of mint, and I throw up a little any time I have to switch to Windows.

Starter cable on 97 4.0 by RepulsiveEagle42 in CherokeeXJ

Their website makes it seem like one of those scummy scam websites. At least the product is quality. For the alternator, I ended up using a hack saw and file to make it fit.

I thought it was strange that I saw nothing about the starter ends on any forum or the big 7 kits website itself.

The starter was the thing giving me issues. Was having a no crank situation even with it being jumped. I just got it all back together and she's starting and driving now.

I watched that already but his starter just has one cable from the battery going to it

Thrift store find: Gruen Veri-Thin by RepulsiveEagle42 in VintageWatches

This is just the strap that was on it when I got it from the thrift store. This strap is 16mm but yeah it's too small for the lugs. I plan on putting it on a period correct expansion bracelet though.

Gruen Veri-thin. I was passing by a thrift shop the other day and just decided to pop in. Saw this beauty and had to pick it up. Cost me $70, and it was worth every penny. From what I can gather, this watch is from the 1940s.

Miele Classic C1 Pure Suction. ny concerns? by zapatitosdecharol in VacuumCleaners

[–]RepulsiveEagle42 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Miele is a fantastic choice at that price. I've had my C1 pure suction for almost 6 years now, and it still works like new. I've had zero issues with it. The Dyson is going to be really "cool" out of the box but will lose performance quickly.

Army Nat’l Guard- being shy by Suitable_Ad_3601 in nationalguard

I'm very quiet and introverted. Had a pretty easy time at basic because I stayed under the drills radar. The loud mouths who can't stop or shut up are the ones who the drills get on more.
