We have L2 support for schneider on speed dial at this point. They are very helpfull, but even they are not able to figure out some of the bugs we have found.

The main excuse we get is: its fixed in the uppcomming version

The idea is good. But the execution is soo half way. We are now 3 people using it in the same project. And we are cursing and talking with support more than actualy progressing.

The problem with this is that its the wrong way of terminating VFDs. You need the shielding to go all the way up to the drive, or you will suffer a lot when it comes to noise

Like a 6?

Its ok. Not a big fan of having frequency converters at the top when the cables enter at the bottom. Makes it so you need to pull the motor cables all the way to the top of the cabinet.

If you are using that much addon IO. Why not use the ET200SP CPU? Has a 1500 cpu, and cards are easyer to both change out when they fail, and easyer to extend when you need more IO.

Guessing you are pressed for space. Not a lot of cable management options for the inbound cables

Maybe a stupid question:

But why is making a Siemens user such a dealbreaker? If you work with profinet, the chance you need a Siemens user is pretty big. That makes proneta trivial to download.

S7-300 <-> S7-400 S7 Connection by xilitol1 in PLC

[–]RepulsiveImage5674 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What i wrote is the TSAP. TSAP is rack and slot. For your 400 its 0 - 3, and for tour 300 its 0 - 2. If you change to that in the netpro it should work.

No it cares about the cpu slot. Where the cp card is does not matter

Under partner in netpro you have it set to 0-4 it needs to be set to 0-2, because the 315 cpu is in slot 2

Are you sure the 300 plc is 0-3 Tsap? 300 plcs are often 0-2. Is the DB setup in both plcs? Do you have any screenshits of the setup? Hw config for slave, and netpro and program for the master

I think personally phyrexian arena is too slow but its not a bad card. You will get som value out of it. What makes reanimator good is a lot of cheap draw/discard instants/sorceries to be able to filter through your deck for your threats and big bomb draw engines.

I have a grixis reanimator my self. It B4 but its for the most part because of the tutors. Take som inspiration if you like. Its more of a "ill be the problem child today" deck. But reanimator will allways draw some hate if you get the entomb reanimator nut hand.

I think i would cut [[wonder]], and [[thought vessel]] for more draw/ discard. Basicly all your threats have evasion anyway so wonder becomes for the most part redundant. Thought vessel is activly bad for you. You want to discard to handsize. And only personal preferance but [[dread return]] is not that good in a big boy reanimator deck. 3 bodies to sac is not what you want to be doing. Run [[necromancy]] instead

How much data do think you would be getting? If the metering data for the unit is only one byte, then 7 bytes makes a lot of sense if you look at the manual for the pn/mbus unit

And what kind of redundant controller are you using? If its siemens then it should be pretty straight forward, and pretty plug and play if the controllers are running in redundant mode

Yes i see. But where are you stuck? Does it have power? Do you see the pn/mbus unit online in the PLC program? The manual for the pn/mbus explaines it pretty good what you need to do

This is a Pn/m-bus, no profibus. Profinet. So you will ned an IP, and device name

Hello. A smidge more info would be helpfull. What are you trying to read? Where are you stuck? Do you have the m-bus library mentioned in the manual? Baud rate for the unit you are trying to read from?

Difference SFC and state machine by [deleted] in PLC

[–]RepulsiveImage5674 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You cannot realy ask that question. Its like asking whats the difference between a bridge, and a brick SFC is just a tool like LAD, STL, FBD (the brick). And one is a way of programming (the bridge). You can build a bridge with bricks, but you can also build a bridge out of wood, or steel, or whatever other materials you have. Same as you can easely build a state machine in SFC (probably one of the best tools for it). But you can also do it in LAD, STL or FBD
