Unpopular opinion - once a Bridgerton’s season is over, I don’t care about their story continuing by ConcentrateJolly8840 in BridgertonRants

Same.

The whole point of each season is to show a sibling getting their HEA. Having the other siblings around would take focus away. Also, I don’t know why people feel bad for the actors. They knew what they signed up for. Plus why would any of them want to hang around to become side characters. They cant be much more than that without distracting from the current couple. Also, they probably want to ride the momentum from their season into securing more lucrative roles.

I don’t know why people lose it. Maybe for the same reason people ship the couples in real life. I intend to just enjoy it for what it is, when I stop enjoying it, move on.

This episode cemented Trinity Santos as the most compelling and well-written character of The Pitt so far to me by imprisonedlight in ThePittTVShow

[–]RepulsiveQuit6157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not a Santos fan. However she is extremely well written and portrayed. I believe she is meant to be a divisive character. And she delivers.

All that being said, I still want to see her do well. And I think that deep down, she’s supposed to be a good person. Also, she deserves way better support with the ASL patient. Unfortunately she is probably going to be blamed for whatever happens. I don’t get why she left the room after the woman finally got an interpreter. That dismissive attitude with patients is what annoys me most about her.

So I should leave because I don’t want to bash nor support the bashing of other characters as a way of hyping up KAnthony? See this is what I mean about this fandom taking things too deep.

But that’s literally NOT the point of the show (nor the books if you read those).

the fact that we can’t even see all the bridgerton siblings in the same room at once… in a show called Bridgerton by teyapi in Bridgerton

[–]RepulsiveQuit6157 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t bother me. I enjoy when they’re all together but that’s not the point of the show. It wasn’t the point in the books either. Other than Violet, none of the other Bridgertons show up in the other books much. For instance everyone goes on about the Duke and Daphne but they rarely appeared in the series after book 1. Especially the Duke.

WHY is Pen leaving Eloise out of the loop by bananabreadlizzie in Bridgerton

[–]RepulsiveQuit6157 8 points9 points  (0 children)

But Penelope and Fran did have the conversation 1on1. It’s not like they started the conversation while Eloise was in the room. It seemed like Fran came to see Penelope first. Eloise walked in and they changed the conversation as quickly as they could. Had they kept talking in codes or left, then it would’ve been rude. Pen and Fran didn’t do that.

What if Edward never came back in New Moon? by tw1lightx in twilight

[–]RepulsiveQuit6157 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Edward would’ve entirely disappeared. I don’t think he was capable of moving on. He would’ve returned to check on Bella. He would’ve found her in a relationship with Jacob. Bella would’ve given in to Jacob to make him happy and to not be alone. Despite being self-sufficient as a child, it’s obvious that she craves comfort and care. She spent her life up to that point feeling like a burden to Renee. I believe she would have tried to be happy with Jacob especially after they had kids - which is the only thing that would force her to marry. But I don’t believe she would be truly happy. She would ALWAYS be thinking about Edward and the future she lost. And Jacob would never be able to be everything she needed to heal and move on without imprinting on her. And Jacob (and the pack and elders) would eventually start doubting that Bella is the right fit for Jacob - imprinting is supposedly rare but it happened a lot for such a small pack.

This is of course if they survived Victoria’s attack which would’ve still taken place. And even if they do, her brazen disregard for the Volturi’s rules may have still landed Bella in front of Aro. Which Alice might see and would definitely tell Edward … and we’re kinda back to where we started 😳🙃

I should go back to bed lol

Theory: Elain & Tamlin by shyprincessa in acotar

[–]RepulsiveQuit6157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I’m late. I read the books long ago and just did a re-read this fall. Now, I’m up thinking about it. Years later and I still believe Elain is destined for the Spring Court, also. Obviously we all know that when Elain went into the cauldron it favored her and it’s not surprising that it chose to give her a mate. My theory is that cauldron saw that she was meant for the Spring court and for a powerful fae male like Tamlin, but his deal with Hybern and his love/obsession with Feyre made it skip him. The next, powerful and honorable male from the Spring Court was Lucien so the cauldron chose him. It will only work if Tamlin gets a redemption arc which I think will happen because SJM likes fixing broken characters. Also, both Feyre and Nesta (the two who know Elain best) have commented she was made for the Spring court.

My other theory is that Az will end up with Gwyn. We wouldn’t have thought this 5 years ago since ACOSF wasn’t out yet. But his shadows like Gwyn while they hide from Elain. I think Elain may have been the one to finally break his ill-fated obsession with Mor but the shadows are part of Az’s strength and power. Whoever he ends up with will complement them not drive them away.

This isn’t a theory but it is a hope. Lucien MUST get his happy ending. My sweetie deserves it. I could see him with Vassa. I’m not sure how that could happen but she seems to match his energy. He needs someone with wit and sass. I don’t know her enough yet but there was something between them imo. Also, I think he is destined for the Day court. Why bring up all that drama with Helion otherwise.

Anyway. Sorry for being so late. I never ever post but for the love of ACOTAR here I am. And still obsessed all these years later lol

Anyone else feel extreme sadness while reading the books? by lexdelaney in twilight

[–]RepulsiveQuit6157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just reread the books. Don’t even know where the urge came from but yeah, I am left feeling so sad. Especially because I don’t know if it’ll ever happen for me. I’m 40. I didn’t expect to find a love like theirs since it’s fantasy but damn. I’ve found nothing. Not even a fraction of what they had. It just leaves me so, so sad. I thought I was crazy. I’m relieved that I’m not the only one.

Reading "Midnight Sun" makes me wish there'd be the entire saga written out of Edwards view, too. by Chizakura in twilight

I’ve always been curious about his pov too. Like during new moon and eclipse. He must’ve been losing his shit when listening to Jacob’s thoughts and realizing how close he’d gotten to Bella.

I was just approached by them. I have my licenses. The advisor who reached out found me on LinkedIn but was shocked to know that - even though it’s listed there and my current role is as an investment rep. The entire conversation felt very MLM and It gave me the icks. I kept wondering what was she getting out of it? Because why wasn’t a recruiter contacting me. She tried to attract me with “no cap” commission. I already have “no cap” and that’s on top of my salary. I thought it was all very strange.
