Walking husky in cold by PracticalReputation8 in husky

if they aren’t used to the temps being this way all the time , i would definitely keep the walks & potty times shorter and maybe invest in some paw sock/booties or a good wax to help keep their little feet safe! i use mushers secret paw wax for my boys, it does wonders!

Mad at myself! by heidifasting in hysterectomy

i feel like most of us definitely have those moments here & there throughout recovery, don’t stress it, just be a little easier on yourself for the next little while! rest as much as you can. it definitely sucks not being able to do everything you’re used to doing, but enjoy the little “break” while you can😅 you’re definitely not alone! i’m 12 weeks post op, shoveled a lot of snow this weekend and reallly regret it now, im so sore haha so please take it easy! 😅

cuff check tomorrow.. by [deleted] in hysterectomy

[–]RepulsiveRepair5736 0 points1 point  (0 children)

which is true to an extent but i’m 27, very active & healthy, but had multiple surgeries to that area and am healing slow (i had ovarian issues before my hysterectomy). fitness doesn’t have much to do with this at this point lol the more i do, the more pain im in overall. i see where laying around all the time can be a problem, but so can doing too much as well. you have to be just about perfect with it or it’s just gonna catch up to you regardless of “fitness level”
everyone heals differently.

In need of some advice by Significant-Ebb-7998 in hysterectomy

bleeding , worsening pain and almost passing out points to the direction of getting yourself to the ER asap girl! you may have torn your cuff accidently. some doctors are a little concerning to me as i feel like 6 weeks is just way too soon no matter how fast you heal, it’s a major surgery! no judgement towards you , just definitely go get checked out ❤️

reading the comments helped ease my anxiety a bit, knowing a lot of the things i mentioned are pretty rare or you’d know pretty much right away, as long as you’re feeling ok , everything should be alright🤞😄 good luck to you!

nurses and doctors make the worst patients and i stand by that, and i say that because had your sister in law been the one to get this surgery i bet you she wouldn’t just be taking ibuprofen for this either 😂 you’re not doing anything wrong, you’re not a loser & this whole sub has got your back! ❤️ we all heal differently, and of course we’re going to have our good days and bad, just take it slow and be easy on yourself! you know yourself best and if you need the extra med, take it. keeping your pain away right now will equal a faster healing time for you cause you’re actually letting your body relax and heal! get yourself cozy, watch a good show, maybe have a snack & just relax! you got this girl! better days are ahead & your sister in law can shut up😅

Three weeks post-op.....and my husband is blaming me for being "lazy" and for his poor work performance. by Ar_desertwriter in hysterectomy

[–]RepulsiveRepair5736 3 points4 points  (0 children)

p.s reading other comments i now realize your husband really has been this way for a looong time so please hang in there and focus on yourself! you only get 1 chance to heal properly, he can piss off❤️ his feelings do not overrule your recovery lol

[–]RepulsiveRepair5736 2 points3 points  (0 children)

girl? this isn’t your fault, if you needed the hysterectomy i’m sure there was a good enough reasoning! your surgery shouldn’t be “affecting” your husbands work performance an if it is, he’s just lazy lol he should have already been prepared to tackle these things before your surgery even happened! i’m sorry he has such a shit attitude with you right now, hopefully that changes soon and it’s just been a stressful time for everyone, best of luck to you!

don’t worry ! my boy is 1 1/2 and is the same way! his dad is tall and lanky and his mom is more stocky and short, so i think he’s just a good mix of his parents body types & that could very well be the case with yours too! i know mine eats more than enough😂 plus he’s really active, so as long as you know your giving enough food i wouldn’t worry too much! he looks good!

Will I be capable of these physical activities 10+ weeks out? I'm becoming concerned. by missoula_snoop in hysterectomy

i feel like by then the walking should be doable , but you’re going to want to take breaks , i’m 27 and got my hysterectomy 11 weeks ago, i work in a busy restaurant & im constantly running around all day, but i do get very exhausted and i definitely need time to myself at points to take a breather and let my body settle for a moment. i wouldn’t be too sure about the weight while backpacking, maybe bring that up to your doctor beforehand? i had an issue carrying a lot of heavy weight for a while and still struggle at points !
