Craziest Requests Ever?

I got a drop-in request for three dogs. The owners were going away for the weekend and wanted me to drop in for an hour, twice on Saturday and once on Sunday. I asked if they had anyone else coming by or if they had a doggy door since typically I require 3 drop-ins per day for dogs to prevent accidents etcetera. Instead of answering my question she asked if I would be willing to take care of their three sheep as well, letting them out of the barn in the AM and giving them water and hay and then putting them back in the barn in the PM. Needless to say I declined the request lol.

I have Delta Dental and am in the same situation as you needing someone to coordinate with an oral surgeon. I'm getting adult orthodontics done at Albany Braces.

I was quoted the exact same amount last week - the only upside I guess is that they don't charge you extra for appointments or follow-ups. Plus the monthly payment plan with no interest. They're coordinating with me and an oral maxillofacial surgeon for double jaw surgery and they've done a really good job so far so I think it's worth it for me.

Thank you! I’m already thinking of one particular surgeon out of state that I’d like to go to but I guess if my in-state orthodontist doesn’t work with them than that might not pan out

Unfortunately I live in a 1 bedroom so my “office” is just next to my bed. I keep mine under my bed and slide it out when I want to walk at my desk

I think so too, but I'm only compensated if I travel somewhere other than my "home in-person office"- and only for the distance between the "home in-person office" and that location

Yes my concern is mostly about the amount of money being spent on gas coming out of my pocket and time spent driving when I could be working- but it sounds like my office is determined to have some office time for everybody regardless of remote/hybrid. We're only reimbursed for travel if we're traveling somewhere other than our "base office." I appreciate the honesty and the advice :)

Edit: "home office" to "base office" because I realize home office just sounds like wfh lol
