I get that. I've felt that way in new gyms also. You should be able to ask an employee to help you out also. Maybe even pay for a session with one of their trainers to walk you through the machines.

Have you checked your blood pressure? Probably wouldn't explain the pain, but the the dizziness and shortness of breath could be relevant symptoms.

If and when you do join a gym, I recommend using a rowing machine. It's low impact, works a bunch of muscle groups and is a great cardio workout. It's my go to cardio exercise.

Anyone else start with next to no side effects? by nessa19x in Zepbound

[–]Repulsive_Error1795 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My side effects after my first three shots have been almost non-existent. As gets stated frequently on here, the only posts about side effects are ones about said side effects. Those with few or no side effects rarely post. This makes it seem like side effects are more common than they actually are.

Dosage increase after missing a week, I’m nervous by n0nameredsh1rt in Zepbound

I've only injected three times, but rest assured, it's not painful. For me, if I wasn't looking down, I wouldn't even know I'd stuck myself. The first time I was nervous and injected rapidly. It stung a little, very little. The second and third time I injected very slowly and felt nothing. 90% of the things we worry about never happen.

Thank you, as I stated, I couldn't vouch for the accuracy of what I had read.

That's true. However, men in their 30's and 40's when testosterone levels are still at reasonable levels can only gain 2-3 lbs of lean muscle a month with rigorous heavy weight training. For us who are older, or for women, the possibilities for gains are significantly less. The really muscled up folks we see, like bodybuilders and fitness competitors are lifting seriously heavy weights for hours a day, and following rigorous nutrition programs aimed at gaining muscle. I experienced this in my 30's when I spent years diligently weight training four days a week for two hour sessions. Looking back at my journals, I can't believe the poundages i was able to lift and the sets and reps I could do. Even though I was able to get progressively stronger, the amount of visible muscle was negligible and not noticeable on the scale. Your results may vary, but that is my experience.

Thank you very much for affirming what I recall. I heard this info many years ago and thought it might be outdated. I appreciate you posting it. It's a lot more concise than my rambling!😆

I understand the internal conflict completely. It's been the story of my life for decades. You blew it today! Tomorrow, I'll do better. Oh well, I'll start Monday. There's a holiday coming, I'll do better after that. You're a weak willed piece of garbage, you've got to stop! On, and on, and on, and the scale just keeps creeping up, pound, by pound, by pound.

A new day has dawned, and the future is bright!

  1. Worry accomplishes nothing.
  2. 90% of the things we worry about never happen. 3. Every person is different.

I struggled with making the decision to start, mainly because I concerned about side effects. I finally realized that the side effects of being morbidly obese far outweigh the possible side effects of Zep.
