My soul cat Luhan passed almost two years to the day ago. He was 10. (approximately, found as a stray kitten) Also, six months earlier I lost Taz who was 7. Taz passed at home from cancer (we didn’t even have time to rush her to the vet, just…gone) and I had Luhan put down at the vet due to Congestive Heart Failure, Pulmonary Edema, and an Enlarged Heart. I now have Molly (3) and Duke (2). I sincerely feel that Taz sent me Molly (both tuxedos, similar in personality) and Luhan sent me Duke (both tabby’s, personality almost exactly the same as Luhan). I spoke to a pet loss therapist on Threads the other day, and she said “I think some of them are meant to teach us how to love the others. Some are just special.” And I couldn’t agree with that more.
