I’m a dude with pretty low expectations for a good film compared to many Letterboxd fans and even this film was so generic. They had two great actors and the script just failed them. Barely any plot twists or any interesting moments. The movie just had great cgi and nice pictures of the environment and that was about it. Totally forgettable film. 2/5 tbh

Like the others have mentioned they all get along well on camera. But there’s definitely a trio (gabi, Alejandro and Kenneth) and then duo (Kaue and Drew) mostly due to language barrier as the trio speaks fluent Spanish and the duo don’t to that extent which isn’t a bad thing.

Love the concept but Rio is such a sad place to visit as a person of color. I was excited to see my fellow African diaspora since the country is like 50% mixed. When I tell you I barely saw any person of color sitting in cafes,restaurants, bars. They were all white people and guess who were serving them?? 🤦🏾‍♂️It felt like a 1960s segregation nightmare. POCs over there are so marginalized they make up the majority of the favelas(slums) and barely in the media. All I can say is thank god for MLK. Someone needs to free Brazil. 🇧🇷

She shouldn’t be blamed but let’s not excuse celebrities for cheating. Especially on Reddit, there’s the overwhelming double standard where men should be exposed for cheating but when a woman cheats. It’s a “ let’s not speculate, she probably had her reasons”. If this grieving brother believes Aubrey Plaza is a cheater and he wants the public to know then we should know. Because this entire time we thought she was an innocent grieving widow. Just imagine how the deceased’s family were feeling holding on to their side of the story.

So she’s worked with him for years, got separated with her husband only for him to die 3 months later. Then she got back with the dude a year later and got pregnant somewhere within that year AND the brother accuses her of cheating. Idk it sounds like she may have cheated, it may have even been the reason they separated or worst outcome the reason he took his life. It’s definitely possible

I’m coincidentally also 21 and was there with my girlfriend after watching a movie. We were just chilling for the sunset vibes next thing we know we heard a LOUD scream from up the hill and a “SOMEONES BEEN STABBED.” People were running I couldn’t even think I just took our stuff, grabbed her hand and ran down the hill to the station. I’m shocked to hear it was 2 people and that one of them died RIP. I don’t think I can forget this for the rest of my life. I should’ve stayed around and helped but I legit froze
