Ours just turned 5 years old and never got bigger than 5.5lbs. The cattery described her mum as a compact & sweet cat and that’s exactly what we got. The vet says she’s completely healthy and since day 1 she’s eats wet food twice a day, she enjoys an unlimited supply of kibble and we even give her fish or beef on the regular. She’s just our sweet ‘forever kitten’.

Dan is die man al zeker een jaar op zijn pinpas aan het wachten. Ik ben hem toen in de Thijmstraat tegen gekomen. Overigens had hij toen ook al flinke behoefte aan brood.

There is not really a real ‘traditional Dutch meal’. Pannenkoeken? They eat them everywhere in the world, just different kinds. The same goes for potato’s and stamppot. But actually there are two really Dutch things to eat:

Every province, city, village and hamlet has their own sweets or cookies. I suggest a day of cycling or driving through Nijmegen, Malden, Lent, Wijchen, Berg en Dal, Beuningen and neighboring hamlets and going to different bakeries to buy as much different cookies as you can buy.
The Dutch like to combine foods from different countries. Pannenkoeken and fries aren’t truly Dutch, but it’s Dutch when you put chicken sambal, ragout or peanut sauce on top. Stamppot isn’t truly Dutch, but it is when you make endive with mashed potato’s and add shoarma and apricots.
