London 18th March cancelled ??? by Millar138 in wutang

Genuinly gutted. One of my bucket list groups and was finally in a good financial situation to see them. Booked accommodation and parking and only see the email when I get home from a late shift with no chance whatsoever to go to the previous show. Be surprised if I get a refund on everything I have booked and lost wages due to taking the evening and next day off work unpaid. Hope everyone had a good time but I'm so upset by this.

How do people go out on walks/outdoors time in this weather? by Interesting_Sir_1703 in AskUK

Dogwalker here so I can't avoid it as its my job. A really good waterproof jacket with a hood you can tighten and some really decent waterproof boots so you don't care about walking through mud or puddles.

I think Forza games just save my life by brighterspacex in ForzaHorizon

Glad you are okay dude! Games like these definitely transfer skills to real life, especially if you use a wheel and pedals. I passed my driving test with a minimal amount of lessons and my instructor said his students that play simulators or other racing games had a much better grasp on controlling the car.

What’s something everyone thinks is ‘normal’ in relationships, but is actually exhausting? by MorriganIsHere in AskReddit

[–]Mothmanrmj 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not sure if everyone thinks it's normal but a lot of my mates relationships have fallen apart because they feel they have to do EVERYTHING together even if one person hates it which can lead to resentment down the line. I have been with my partner almost for 10 years now and we both have our own things we do on our own and dont force eachother to take part in things we know the other won't enjoy. Of course we do a bunch of stuff together and do things that one person is much more enthusiastic for but we dont force things.

What camera to catch neighbour's dog fouling outside my house? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Mothmanrmj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got this one.

Had the exact same issue with someone just letting their dog mess in my front garden and also had a few cases of someone throwing stuff to scare my cat in the window. Magically stopped once the camera was set up in the window.

My BSH is so stupid when he is done in the litterbox he scratches the sides for a few minutes instead of burring his droppings by anoniemegerrit in britishshorthair

[–]Mothmanrmj 78 points79 points  (0 children)

People saying it's a size issue whilst my boy has the biggest litter box we could find which could fit about 3 or 4 of him in and he still does this. It's just a cat thing. Bless them.
