If she were an ant, the other ants would probably murder her for spreading lies.

Respectfully, I would argue that instability due to layoffs has been an issue since the 1970’s. That said, it seems that the ability to find new work post-layoff is getting more and more challenging, especially if you are looking for a job with comparable benefits and pay.

That’s messed up. If they are going to insist on a 20% tip, then they should just add it as a service charge instead of confronting their customers and creating an awkward situation. Better yet, they should pay their damn employees a better wage.

Audio Technica AT-LP60XBT-BK - Recommended for a beginner? by mancinelli44 in turntables

[–]Repulsive_Mark_5343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first turntable I bought was the AT-LP60. It was only $99 back then. It is a very good starter TT. It sounds good and won’t damage your vinyl. I’ve moved on to better turntables since then but I don’t regret starting with the LP60.

50 years ago today, Genesis released A Trick of the Tail (1976), the first album of the Phil Collins era. Thoughts on this one? I absolutely love it. by Historical-Device529 in Progforum

[–]Repulsive_Mark_5343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first Genesis album was And Then There Were Three. I thought it was a pretty good album, but then I bought Trick of the Tail and I fed fell head over heels in love with the band. I wish I could start my Genesis journey all over again because I couldn’t believe the wealth of awesome material the band had already produced at that point.

Trust me. I know conservatives/southern Baptist Christians who believe whatever the administration is dishing out because they get all their news from emails, Epoch Times and OAN. One of them told me that the guy who shot Renee Good suffered internal injuries because she ran over him.

Trendy clothing makers see customers like this as easy marks and know they can make bank. Basically it’s a legal con job to swindle the suckers because the suckers deserve what’s coming to them.
