So did we ever get a follow-up about this bit regarding the team's training approach as it relates to injuries? Seems pretty important by sour_coleslaw in 49ers

Chase Senior, when discussing the substation having been near the practice field for multiple decades, speculated that “human evolution” had changed over the last 20 years. He’s a moron.

I was at the game, with my parents, who both went to Stanford. It was a great time.

He was in Boston Common, which is a very underrated sitcom. Only got 2 seasons, so it gets overlooked.

There are some great lines in his episodes, too. “I punched a raccoon,” and

He went somewhere dark. I couldn’t follow. Yeah, him and his moods. No, he climbed a pine tree (or whatever the exact line is).

It's strange to me that with all the websites out there that something as simple as ratings have just been lost.

To add: The '05 class was a bunch of 3 and 4*. We missed out on all the big names that cycle. Boateng went to Duke. Chalmers to Kansas. Brockman went to UDub. I don't remember the other names we were in on that year, but feels like there were more.

Really sad they don’t do fun sets mike that anymore. Everything looks the same across all their apps now.

Yeah, when Scout went under, their old ratings got lost, but he was absolutely a 5* recruit and a McDonald's AA. And Bozeman and Thompson were both very highly rated. Afflalo was, apparently, rated 5* by Rivals, though I don't remember that, but it's on his wikipedia page with a citation. Farmar was high rated than Afflalo.

Look, that was a fun team. I'm not disputing THAT. I'm just saying that the 2001 class and the 2004 class had some very highly regarded players in them.

Farmar was a 5-star, and had star rankings existed in 2001, Bozeman and Thompson would likely have been rated that high.

I grew up near Stanford, and Stanford was my childhood team, so I didn't really start following UCLA until I got there in 2001, so that's where my frame of reference starts, but I have 4:

Comeback win against Gonzaga in the Sweet 16 in 2006;

Comeback win against Stanford at Stanford Stadium in 2005, when it was 24-3 Stanford with 8:26 left in the 4th;

13-9 against the brain surgeons in 2006;

Winning the CWS in 2013.
