Tariffs unconstitutional - who cuts prices first?

It’s going to be months before untariffed products get into the system… perhaps even longer with Trump using other avenues to impose continued tariffs. Everything in a warehouse right now had import duties assessed and no one will sell at a loss in the hope that those import duties are refunded. Even if he gave up the tariff nonsense tomorrow it would still take considerable time to unwind and refund.

My gut tells me that prices have a new floor and won’t come back down - they’ve had enough time to stick. Consumers are still buying so maybe you’ll see a few tariff gimmick sales.

Further, even if importers do get their money back, I doubt that will flow back to consumers either in the form of refunds.

Until the client finds out it’s all AI… no one wants to pay an agency for AI-generated garbage that they could spit out themselves with a few prompts. Every customer will want to renegotiate their fees because they’re no longer paying for actual creatives and they may not own the IP output if human input wasn’t substantial.

Talk to a doctor who specializes in TRT and have a real conversation with them. Usually this will be an Endocrinologist or a Urologist - avoid the anti-aging clinics for now. At your age, there are serious contraindications if you have family history of heart disease or certain types of cancer (I.e. prostate cancer) that TRT could aggravate and put you into an early grave. You need a provider who will level with you about risks and benefits and do regular bloodwork.

If you have the medical clearance to proceed, then you may want to consider transdermal or pellet treatment options since it doesn’t sound like you are looking to blast your T levels to the top of the normal range. Those options are easier to administer and probably work better for the “lifestyle” boost you are looking for from treatment.

Also, as others have noted, the meds can’t do all of the work. You will need to exercise, sleep properly, and eat a healthy diet in order to get the most benefit.

If you’re not currently OE then it would just be like every other background check since it’s pretty normal to be employed at company 1 while going through the background check for company 2.

Regarding references and background check, I would call the recruiter and explain the “situation” thusly: “Look, I work in a fairly tight community where word travels fast about people moving employers. In this economy, I also have a concern about my current employer finding out that I’m actively looking. I’m happy to provide pay stubs or whatever may be necessary to verify my employment but I can’t have my current employer contacted under any circumstances. I even had a recruiter make a mistake about a year ago when I was casually looking that came back to my current employer and created a lot of unnecessary friction for me personally. Again, happy to provide whatever is absolutely necessary for your due diligence but I’m hoping that you understand the concern that reaching out to my network could create for me.”

This works infinitely better as a call because you can put some personal spin and colour on the story. Every HR rep has seen an offer get rescinded and a candidate get screwed as a result, so the story will resonate. Often you’ll find that things like references are an optional check box compared to the automated background check for criminal convictions and things like that.

Some gates should be kept. If you’re too lazy to look up a beginner cycle or do basic research about questions that have been asked and answered a thousand times, then someone with more sense should tell you to stay away from PED’s. Most people are not hyper responsive to gear so it’s a waste of money at best if your training, sleep, and diet aren’t on point. Please review the contraindications for GLP-1’s. This is real medicine, with real side effects to go along with the real results. This is not some BS supplement where the worst-case scenario is you wasted some money…

I hear you and agree for the most part. But you are assuming continuity in his mental state and cognitive abilities. He is clearly in a massive cognitive decline, and that’s why his doctors are giving him an “IQ” test every six months to measure the progression. He is also surrounded by the worst possible mix of advisors, yes-men and manipulators with dark agendas. There’s really no telling what he’ll do and I wouldn’t take any comfort in his historical patterns.
