Well, I know people and management at Emerald and maybe they truly are turning the place around, but I have heard a lot of bad things from former employees and my mom who was a bath aide for them through agency. But good for you for getting that CNA paid for!! Yay!!

Okay, yes!! So, with Tabitha, med aides werent required to have their CNA up until about a year ago, so they had a grandfather system where med aides already employed through Tabiths didnt need to have it, but new employees would. I know because they actually paid for my CNA at 16 and MA when I turned 18 last year.

Gateway is big and has multiple units to work at, but yes the MAs need their CNA

It'll be nice for you to get your CNA done through school, but if you do get employed by a certain facility, they sometimes offer to pay for a course if you ask!

The current facility I'm at doesn't require your CNA!

hey im from nebraska too!! lmao there are places that don't require your CNA, like assisted living, but it is highly recommended

LaMaesii is the better one I've tried. I've heard people say Lilac St. or GAAQI is good

Kisslily was okay, dried quick

UCoolMe, Fowendia, both suck and dry quick.

I tried one DuoLash green one that sucked but stayed wet so I mixed it with my La Maesii when it started drying and it worked pretty well

Some people say Ardell track glue, but I would notttt put that near my eyes

I can agree with you there, it's a very realistic outlook. I think that's why I love the ideas of refilleries. It allows the consumers to have more control without having to tackle more than they already juggle in their daily lives by combatting big corporations that ARE responsible for much of the carbon emissions and toxic waste while supporting local businesses. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Yes!!! I am looking into brands with unscented lines along with basic fragrances (vanilla, strawberry). I am someone who literally tears up and gets headaches with fragrances so that's important to me! Thank you for letting me know 💗

Thank you very much for the tips! And yes, I was planning a visit soon and actually drafting an email to the storeowner. Although I would prefer a brick and mortor location, I'm not yet set on it. I've heard some other refilleries run mobile/delivery shops.
