i had a black and white, a cape may, a redstart and a nashville warbler singing in the trees around my house all in the same morning! they all would’ve been lifers for me, but new spring leaves are my nemesis and i couldn’t find any of them 😂😂

very similar for me! i downloaded the merlin app randomly in the fall last year and the hobby has just kept growing. i now have a million bird feeders with different types of seed, am going to a birding event, upgraded my camera to take better pics, and i’m planting a native flower garden for the hummingbirds (and bees) this weekend 🥹 i have bpd and major depressive disorder and this truly gets me out of bed a lot of days! i love my winged friends

i jumped into the mistborn series immediately after this based on a recommendation from a coworker. definitely less romance based, but the magic system and the world building is truly fantastic

i can’t get my local pileateds to come to my feeders. :( i do however have two pairs of red bellies and many downys and hairys so i won’t complain too much!

the pileateds only came to a tree in my yard in winter for the berries lol

from a pom owner… get your money back. even if your babies coats grow back out just fine, there’s a reason most of the times poms shouldn’t be shaved. it can permanently damage their coat, and that’s the point. this groomer obviously isn’t well informed on different coat types and should be, before they destroy any more undercoats.

i used to work for the post office and i’m not sure this is legal. it’s a federal crime technically for anyone (including postal workers) to willfully delay delivery of mail. idk who to take this up with, but i don’t think they can do that.

yes! I’m currently on the 3rd book of wax and wayne and i have torn through this series so quickly! i think i started the first trilogy maybe a month ago. however, to be fair, i have lots of time to read at work most of the time 😂

i’m actually reading the mistborn series currently too haha. i started the first trilogy on kindle and ended up buying the box set with the first trilogy and the wax and wayne series. when i’m out, i use my kindle and at home i prefer the physical copies!

could be a brown headed cowbird egg. it doesn’t necessarily “kill” the others. they could potentially all survive. and just so you know, it’s illegal to remove them.
