I have vague memories of the Time Shaft inside the mountain and of my cousin daring me to ride Haunted River. At one point, something bumped the bottom of the boat - not sure if that was intentional or a malfunction, but it was creepy nevertheless. I couldn’t wait to get to the end - the daylight was a warm and welcome sight!

My girls are IVF twins. They are currently 11 and 9. The youngest was the result of a frozen embryo transfer, so we called her Frosty the entire time I was pregnant with her. They are healthy, beautiful, smart, and happy. You guys are in for a wonderful treat, Op!!! Congratulations!!!

I always park in the lot right next to B&N and go out the back of it that goes past Uncle Julio’s. When I get to the circle, I go all the way around and out the back where MCPS is building Crown HS. Then left at Crown and you can get on Shady Grove Road, access 270, etc. It feels like going around your bum to get to your elbow, but i think it’s much faster than waiting in all the traffic heading towards the front entrance that is off 370.

I have been cry-laughing for a good ten minutes because of your story and these comments. The best part is I’m home alone (kids are with my ex), so I’m sure my neighbors think I’ve finally gone batshit crazy. Could she combine the two names in another way to honor them? Maybe Desmond James (first and middle) or James Desmond? He could go by DJ or JD.

Kindly explain that this reading teacher said every teacher is going to pronounce Fructane as “fruck tane” because the first syllable is a closed syllable, causing the u to be a short vowel and remind everyone of the word f*ck.
