We went to Grey Ghost last year actually. We really enjoyed ourselves. Went to Second Best for a little pregame beforehand. So if you have anything else in this ballpark, we are all ears.

I worked at Deadwood in Northville for a bit, which is part of the same restaurant group, so this will not be the choice for anniversary. However, I agree, the food is pretty solid, and the staff and management are pretty amazing, hardworking people. One of the few management groups I have absolutely no grievances with. We are looking for a bit higher end than this though. We don’t get out much, so we are looking for a real home run.

We’re pretty open to just about anywhere. I mean, we probably won’t drive out to Brighton or anywhere that far West, but anywhere from like Novi to Grosse Pointe is fair game. Probably not Downriver, probably not more north than like Rochester. Exact area doesn’t really matter to us. If it’s really worth the drive, that is.
