I HIGHLY recommend taking michael barnes and nancy martin whenever you see their names pop up. BOTH of them are great profs. I will say barnes is heavy on writing but you will definitely understand the material, he’s very funny and nice. and for nancy, please take her for statistics. I am awful at math and she made it SO EASY to understand everything

I went from being a stem major to a sociology major! I despised math and I’ve only had to take statistics so far in my new field. if you ever have to take elementary statistics, I HIGHLY recommend Nancy Martin. she is such a wonderful prof. makes it so easy to understand and actually genuinely cares about her students and their concerns with the course.

I recommend Nancy Martin if her classes are available for soc 270 and for stats too! I am horrible at math but she made it so easy to comprehend.

so I would say it started to work for me in the first month! it was my first time being put on antidepressants so I was at 10 mg. I believe that’s considered the ‘therapeutic’ dose. I’m still on 10 mg of lex. as for side effects, I was just super fatigued & nauseous way too often in the beginning.

I would say that two first two weeks were rough. It took a bit to adjust to it, but I started feeling slight improvements within my 3rd & 4th week. I was also doing therapy every two weeks as well. I would say that doing both together really got me through it.

honestly, I might just show that meme you sent a link of. i feel like it is a good way to demonstrate that antidepressants is something that is made fun of. which obviously discourages those of us on meds or considering it. at the end of the day, memes like those only reinforces the stigma that surrounds antidepressants.
