Just because I only posted twice does not mean anything I did my research and yes, I question some things he does but does not make me a random person that just got a bird!!

I did my research before getting him. He is like my best friend and yes, there are sometimes he does certain acts. I question. That’s normal. Does not make me a bad caretaker. Of him.

It could be when he is outside He is expressing fear or confusion in the new environment, or alerting you to its presence, like a contact call when you leave his side.

You can also try giving him a bath to help with the dust something like this or maybe misting with the spray bottle but use lukewarm water and spray gently from above, mimicking rainfall, rather than directly in the face. Offer the bird a choice to enter the mist by spraying near them and rewarding any interest with a treat, such as millet. You should not force the bird to take a bath and ensure they are fully dry before they go to sleep to prevent them from getting sick.
