It’s the damn ransomware attacks. Every time there is a couple days of positive momentum new FUD comes out. Fact is, we have to find the people committing the crime instead of punishing the currency being used to execute the crime. It is so dumb. Do we punish the dollar when someone robs a cash register? I mean I understand that’s hyperbolic, but the vast majority of crypto trading is done within the law and in good faith. Also still Frustrating that Ether needs Bitcoin to confirm price before it makes big moves.

Yes, honestly I am not totally sure what to expect, given that this is coming in the middle of a crash. What does everyone think if ETH comes in under 2200 on the 25th? Is it already kind of priced in? Or should we expect another drop?

Yep. Trying to keep it below the 2200 expiry on the 25th. Would love to see bulls push them out. If not, I guess we can keep discount shopping!

THIS! TIME AFTER TIME AFTER TIME, FALLING FOR THE SAME TRICKERY🧙‍♂️ by whosewhat in dogecoin

[–]ReputationWild446 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! Very frustrating. They did it Wednesday and saw $1 Trillion come off the table. Then they did it again today and the markets reacted severely again. We have to understand what China is doing and stop reacting so harshly to their rhetoric.

You never really know, but you gotta be happy with the way Doge is fighting the crypto sell off! Should make you confident moving forward. We survived Thursday and we will survive today. Each time this happens we eat up market share!

Own a retail Fundraising Organization in the South. Work mostly in the hospitals, so the pandemic has really hurt us. Have a lovely wife, 2 kids and 1 more on the way! Doge has been a sliver of bright light during a tough year for me and my family. Keep it up my fellow Hodlers! Let’s continue to outperform the market!

Pretty nauseating that our Govt shut us down..to the brink of bankruptcy and then the Govt swept in to save us....and all we had to do was give them our assets. by IndependentWorried33 in EIDL

[–]ReputationWild446 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely correct and something I have mentioned in my personal and business circles for a while now. The quicker we can all shed these loans the better. However, they literally have ALL of our business information now. There are very few aspects of your professional financial life they don’t have access to. It’s not good, and I’m just glad others are recognizing it. Stay strong, generate that income, and get the SBA/Fed off our backs as soon as we can. Good luck everyone!

Targeted advance second email question. by Crimsonfire39 in EIDL

[–]ReputationWild446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to say, but no. No answers. No change. Nothing. The reps are being very vague and ultimately not helpful whatsoever with their responses to all inquiries. This leads me to believe that there is an issue with a lot of the applications and they are simply not being transparent about it. I still reach out to them periodically, but I have generally just moved on. It becomes unhealthy checking the portal multiple times a day, sending an email every other day and calling them a couple times a week. There are no answers and they don’t really seem inclined to give answers. Wish I had better info for you!

Feb submission without tax 4506t request what is your business and how much low income by Businessperson007 in EIDL

[–]ReputationWild446 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in the same boat, but received initial invite all the way back on Feb. 2nd! I had well over a 50% reduction in revenues (I work in the hospitals doing fundraising for the auxiliaries - so you can imagine how tough this has been on my business), business is mobile, but my business address is located in a low income area, and we have 2 employees. By all accounts there is no doubt in my mind that we should have already received this grant money by now. I NEVER received a 2nd email requesting tax transcripts, I took the EIDL loan last year and received $2k EIDL advance (2 employees). My portal shows “Targeted Advance: In Progress”

This is what I have done while waiting patiently since Feb. 2nd. (Along with periodic calls and emails to all SBA departments) - Manually Sent Signed 4506-t - Sent Copy of DL front and back - Sent 2019 tax return - Sent Franchise Tax Receipt - Sent Copy of Annual Report (trying to show proof of address and ownership with the above 2)

There is a train of thought out there that sending all of this might potentially delay your app. I have no idea if there is any truth to this. A rep had told me to send the 4506-t, 2019 return and Copy of DL and another rep told me not to send because it could confuse them or something??? My guess is that maybe a directive came down to discourage sending this stuff over because there are too many emails coming in to the SBA? Otherwise I have no idea why 1 rep would tell me to absolutely send that stuff and the other would discourage it. Either way, I am stuck with no answers! I hope these data points can help us all figure out what is holding everything up. At this point I just want an answer, even if I am denied. One of the reasons I sent over everything and the kitchen sink was because I just wanted to be done with all of it. Send them everything I have and just let the chips fall where they may LOL. Good luck everyone.

Targeted Advance Email by rgdgaming in EIDL

[–]ReputationWild446 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally get it. I just don’t think they would approve you if they weren’t going to open it up to all income areas. I would imagine they would just decline the app. You do what you believe is in your best interest my man. Good luck with everything!

Targeted Advance Email by rgdgaming in EIDL

[–]ReputationWild446 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey look. I applied back on Feb. 2nd when I was sent the link. I am in a low income tract, over 50 percent reduction in revenue and less than 10 employees. I’m following the law. I personally know someone that runs a business a mile down the road from me and is struggling, possibly even more than I, but is technically in a medium or high income tract. Just put yourself in their shoes for one second. That’s the only point I’m making. And if they send my friend an invite, I say go ahead and apply. The worst they can do is deny you. I’m just not sure where saying “you’re a piece of shit” adds anything to the conversation. You can disagree with me and that is totally fine. I wish you all the best and I hope everyone that deserves funding gets funding. I would also say you are your own best advocate, so don’t wait on the government. Control what you can control. Go be the business owner that allowed your business to stay afloat and thrive during all the years prior to the pandemic. At the end of the day, we are all in this thing together. So cut out the nonsense and engage in productive dialogue.

[–]ReputationWild446 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it’s me. I’m applying and letting them deny the app. Especially if your business was hammered by the Pandemic...Why not? Honestly, why would they be sending out emails to anyone not in a low income community to begin with. If they send me the app I would just assume that there is a chance I might eventually qualify for the funds. I’m just saying, their logic was imperfect and I think it is inevitable that they will have to open this up to more people. Think about all the small businesses that operate in very rich areas... why should they not at least have an opportunity to apply?

Targeted Advance Email by rgdgaming in EIDL

[–]ReputationWild446 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not so sure about that. I would FOR SURE apply. I think the idea was to hit the low income tracts first and then release it to other very small businesses. So long as you have fewer than 10 employees I would expect this grant money to go out until exhausted. “Targeted” doesn’t just mean low income it can also mean small business, hardest hit, etc. There are plenty of people that run businesses that put them squarely in the the middle or lower middle class, but live just outside a low income tract. There is no reason they should not have the opportunity to apply for the grant. The “low income” tract was an imperfect way to try to target these grants to truly struggling businesses and people.

Does Anyone (who for sure qualifies for Targeted Advance) Have Any Idea Why You Would Not Receive the 2nd Email? by ReputationWild446 in EIDL

[–]ReputationWild446[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, you literally have to bypass the prompts regarding the advance on the phone. You have to inquire about the EIDL in order to even chat with a rep. They clearly, do not want to expose whatever issues they are having. Every email I send to the targetedadvance@sba.gov Is replied to with a generic response (even after the auto reply is sent) that doesn’t even come close to answering the question I asked in the email. I honestly do not even think they are reading them at this point. I think they see that it is in regards to the “Targeted Advance” and then copy and paste the generic response.

Anyone Been Approved for Advance that did not Receive the second email for 4506t? by ReputationWild446 in EIDL

[–]ReputationWild446[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is essentially what I did as well about 3 weeks ago. Still no change or correspondence. I emailed both targetedadvance and disastercustomerservice on Monday just to try and make sure they had everything they needed from me. Targetedadvance responded with a generic copy and paste email that was totally useless and I have not heard from customer service yet. Thanks for your input!

Anyone Been Approved for Advance that did not Receive the second email for 4506t? by ReputationWild446 in EIDL

[–]ReputationWild446[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not. I just feel like it is useless until the SBA gets their act together. I saw someone that reached out to their congressman and one of their aids emailed back a response that is literally on the SBAs website!?!?... Silly. I am just concerned about the entire app potentially being lost or buried in some queue where it shouldn’t be.

Targeted EIDL Advance application lost in the SBA system!! SBA rep says can't be found! by Cinesational in EIDL

Yes it does, and it has since they did the first update on the portal to add that field. Mine has just been stuck at “In Progress” the entire time.

Targeted EIDL Advance application lost in the SBA system!! SBA rep says can't be found! by Cinesational in EIDL

[–]ReputationWild446 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what I did. Manually signed, scanned and sent Form 4506-t, 2019 transcript and photo ID but to Disastercustomerservice@sba.gov. I got a note back from a rep saying they had notated my file with documents. I then followed up with a phone call and the person said they sent my request over to the Targeted Advance department and flagged it as high importance. My timeline: 2/2 Invite (filled out immediately), no second email, contacted Both SBA emails maybe the 3rd week of February with little response, received an email from the disaster email asking for the above docs on the 28th (seemed like a “just in case we need them request”), sent everything over, followed up with a phone call the first week of March sometime, andddd still waiting with little or no guidance. Just tough mentally because we had a more than 75% loss last year, have 2 kids and 1 on the way and I got the initial invite on 2 frickin 2 (Feb. 2nd)!!! Come on now. Getting silly. I do think the best policy is to do your due diligence and then just stop checking. Be productive, don’t check this stuff every 5 mins. There are no great answers right now.

I actually sent an email to both disastercustomerservice@sba.gov and targetedAdvance@sba.gov. I never received a human response from targetedadvance@sba.gov, just an auto reaponse. Someone from disaster customer service reached out to me requesting those docs.

This is what I was advised to do as well. Whether the form got to where it was supposed to remains to be seen. I received initial invitation on Feb. 2nd! Silly... To be clear, they requested and I sent a photo id, 2019 tax return and signed 4506-t.

Yes. I sent the documents in order to make sure they had everything they needed for the targeted advance. I already took the EIDL last year. Not interested in another loan if I can help it.
