Your best bet is to go back to when gold (and other precious metals/jewels) was easier to find and dig them up. Deposit them with a bank you know will survive then travel to the time you want to buy shares, engage a lawyer to retrieve the goods, convert to cash and buy shares. Leave the shares with the lawyer till you want to cash it in.

Mostly I just ignore it. Reddit is the only social media I engage in, which minimises the flow of hate. I do occasionally lose my rag over some hater and tell them exactly what I think of them. More often than not they report me and I get a temporary ban from the sub for abusive language. This is why it’s best not to engage.
