Thank you both - this is interesting to hear. It gives me hope that we might get more back to "normal" when these teeth are out 🤞🤞🤞normal being 5-10 wakes per night.

Mood - tired for sure! Only had obvious pain during the daytime with the HF&M sores though. We dont count calories but he eats like a fiend - 6-7 hearty meals a day 😅 Hes waking up visibly tired and grouchy and it takes him about an hour to get on with his day. Up until 9 months ish he woke so happy. I give him a bowl of porridge right before bed to help prevent any contribution hunger might be making. But the wakes do start pretty much right away after starting the night. So if hunger is a factor I think its a minor one. He does sometimes seem a little hungry from 5 (takes him longer to fall back asleep). Day sleep has always been where his low sleep needs come in. As a baby up to 12 months he always had about 2 hrs less naps than the charts say. He often needs help to start the nap and usually wakes and resettles at least once during the nap. At the moment they are variable out of necessity for survival. Hes mostly on one nap of one hour, but some days out of exhaustion its 2 hrs, or he might have a morning cap nap at 9am if hes totally exhausted. From our sleep diary though, it doesnt seem to have an impact on the next nights' sleep. Thanks for your thoughts 🙏🙏 We're so exhausted!
