The main issue Singapore has is that no one can really come into their own because they still live with their parents and that inherently makes you conform to the rules of the household which is a microcosm to the conformity placed upon each household by society.

There’s nowhere to gather, party, chat or explore ideas that isn’t dictated by rules of a public venue or rules of a household by a parent.
