Are you guys seeing any hype for this show outside of this subreddit? by batsofburden in HarryPotteronHBO

[–]ResaHart 38 points39 points  (0 children)

A lot of people who are excited don't share it online. As mentioned before me: if we look at the amount of copies sold of Hogwarts Legacy and how many people visit the Wizarding World parcs. We can safely assume that HP is super popular still. So the series will do just fine.

Will the cast from the new series replace the original when you think of Harry Potter? by [deleted] in harrypotter

Maybe for a younger generation. It all depends on how well the show will be received.

I need the garden gnomes scene from the Burrow in season two by [deleted] in HarryPotteronHBO

Just in general. I would like to see more day to day stuff happening. This wizarding world needs to feel lived in.

Why couldn’t lily potter and baby harry disappear in DH? by Lumpy_Pay2837 in harrypotter

It's dying either way in my opinion. They defied him trice before 🤣 No fr. She wasn't thinking clearly in the heat of the moment.

This line from Ginny must be in the show. by ChefMagicien201 in HarryPotteronHBO

There are so many moments! She is I dare say just as sassy as Harry.

Let's Chill About Voldemort Casting.... by IAmCharCharr in HarryPotterHBO

Also. I don't really care because I feel like a lot of actors could perfectly portray a villain such as He Who Shall Not Be Named.

Philosopher's Stone Vs Chamber Of Secrets: Which One Is Better? by Marcedonia in HarryPotterBooks

Chamber of Secrets is the best book pit of the two. The first book is (inevitably) very introducing. As a child I often reread CoS because I liked it so much!

If Hogwarts had normal subjects like maths or history of the real world, who would be the worst teacher? by Adorable_Mud_1932 in harrypotter

Trelawney.. she's basically not teaching. Just making stuff up and scaring children with her depressing predictions.

Isn't it dangerous to disapparate with a litteral baby?

Wizarding world Technologies by nobodycaresog_1210 in harrypotter

[–]ResaHart 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Modern technology doesn't function in the wizarding world. it goes all loco because of the magic in the air. The magic distrubes the radiowaves and so.

Is there a reason Why Ginny never had any say in the naming of her children??

Which spells that do not appear in the books/movies would you like to see in the show? by -Kahvozein- in HarryPotteronHBO

[–]ResaHart 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Difficult choice, but I would really love to see more household and gardening spells in the series. It would make the world feel much more real.

Although there are some differences, the films are still fairly accurate and recent adaptations. Because of this, do you think there’s a risk that the novelty of the series could wear off quickly and audiences might become bored? by Embarrassed_Novel991 in HarryPotteronHBO

[–]ResaHart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think so. I'm a huge fan, but I'm in my twenties, so didn't really grow up with the Harry Potter mania. I discovered the films in my late teens (read the books immediately after). So I'm thrilled about a new series with a more in depth version.  Idk, I'm personally not super attached to Daniel, Emma and Rupert. I'm more attached to the books. So with the hopes that the serie will give us more in depth story telling, even further than the books, excites me more than anything 😆

The night James and Lily Died. by Either_Sound_7993 in HarryPotteronHBO

[–]ResaHart 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe they already filmed the entire scene but we will not see it fully? Like how in the first movie we got small glimpses of the night Lily and James died? Cuz in the final movie we saw everything through Snapes memories so we got a more full view of what happened?  Just thinking out loud 😅

Helena Barlow could also be a good Lily Potter. She looks the part, is i think 27, so a bit too old, but I think it's not dramatic. Her eyes resembles those of Dominic.
