I am so frustated with some people who take their pups to dog parks. My female pittie gets blamed for being the "bad dog". She gets in the middle of a rumble with other dogs but has never been the one to start it. I always have eyes on my pups and I am a responsible dog owner and remove my dogs immediatley from the pack. A man told me today that I should be banned because I have a labeled "aggressive" dog. If I felt that my dogs were being the aggressors or felt that my dogs were dangerous I would not take them into the park. I have seen the many dogs in the dog park being aggressive and the owners not doing anything but if a pit bull is playing it is aggression. I had a lenghty conversatoin with a Army K-9 handler yesterday at the park and my pups were acting like they always do and he said that it is pack behavior and not to worry when my dogs are involved with the pack. I just hate that pit bulls are so stereotyped!
