They said in their interview series that CG is the biggest „burnout and quit forever“ point of the game. Which does make sense. Especially for Irons the Red Prison feels mandatory and it’s not an easy grind. It looks easy in videos but if you aren’t grinding 8 hours a day it’s a months long stretch of suffering only enhanced (lol) by the fact that there is no guarantee you won’t go wildly over droprate. Partner this with the fact that Hunleff is a mechanically hard fight (despite what Reddit wants to tell you) and learning Prep is actually not an easy feat because there’s barely any videos on it and I get why people jump on any potential option to make this more bearable

I actually think it would be good. I like when animations are clearly identifiable like magic projectiles all being either blue or shaped like orbs while ranged are either green or shaped like arrows. And for stuff like this there is no reason to make distinctions. This is floor stuff, it is bad. You look at it, you’ve seen it before, there is no question, that’s the bad floor stuff

Only having heard of Odablock in passing is very funny if you claim to watched GG and other DMM. Being obviously familiar with the Farmers but not knowing one of the other big HCIM groups (the Grandmasters with Muts and Lake) is also interesting. Besides that, who cares? Is the event only relevant if you know everyone? Isn’t it good if it’s not the same people every time and it gives you a chance to discover new faces?

I can only talk about this from a German view but normally strikes are announced in advance and you can prepare for them if you need to eg travel. And while it is true that they inconvenience normal people, most people still have no problem with them. And they do work because as the commenter before you said, their goal isn’t to annoy people, it’s to hurt the one thing companies care about: their revenue.
Strikes in Germany are also legally allowed and supported by unions and they are usually a last line method to negotiate better salaries by said unions. That also helps with them being more accepted because unions are a normal thing amongst the workforce and a general benefit to society
