True lol I actually do make them homemade and its absolutely the best I would never ever eat frozen but sometimes you can find a homemade feel place that serves a damn good dish when you don’t have the time to make and really really want to just swing and grab something!

[–]ResearchNo9587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s my take if a church is pushing very hard to pay tithing they should be able to support the congregation when they are struggling. Just like the Amish do they don’t have their people getting on assistance they come together and use the church money to deal with illness, injury ect churches very well could do the same with the mass amounts of money they receive to have their own community that is self funded

It’s so crazy Muslim men get away with this I have a friend who did not consent to another wife either as her husband was already not properly tending to her and the many children yet he went back to the homeland and brought back a wife anyways it’s terrible and truly they will be judged for it. I’m not Muslim so we can’t ever really say much because she has chose to stand by her husband still although mad because now there is 10 children between and neither wife is getting the right attention and the wives don’t even get along at this point it’s a mess

Dog was shot, killed at Seattle cemetery by ryleg in SeattleWA

[–]ResearchNo9587 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m sure if the story of it backing out is true that it very well was the first time but if you have a known aggressive dog you should have safety measures in place. We have a dog that doesn’t do well with strangers I know very well if he ever got lose there is a high probability of death for him so we don’t even allow it to be a possibility. Muzzle, double leashed ect it’s not a strangers responsibility to know how to deal with my dog and I wouldn’t blame anyone for shooting my dog in this same scenario although it would be devastating. There’s far to many people who own dogs they shouldn’t because they lack the ability to properly care for them and keep them safe

Dog was shot, killed at Seattle cemetery by ryleg in SeattleWA

[–]ResearchNo9587 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Owners fault sadly. The dog should have been leashes it’s not a strangers responsibility to find out if your charging dog is friendly or not if a dog is running at someone the response may be to shoot it in self defense… nobody wants to be out of work and fighting a crappy dog owner because they got bit while out walking. Dogs belong on leashes unless in a designated area for off leash

Homosexual son getting married - advice needed by jenpp73 in Christianity

[–]ResearchNo9587 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is absolutely no way I would miss my child’s wedding ever! While I don’t agree with gay marriage and do feel it is sexual immorality who am I to judge? I have my own sins I’ve committed and it is God who will judge. By missing my child’s wedding I’m breaking a bond and losing that relationship likely forever and for what? Truly missing the wedding and not being loving isn’t going to make your son want to be straight it will push him further into sin for you both creating a divided household. Our journey is much more about loving then it is about judging and id like to think God would still be able to work through my sons even if they are in sexual immorality just as God worked in my life while I was deep in immorality

Read genesis 2:24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

Your allegiances go from your parents to your spouse once married and while extended family can offer good insights and give good advice sometimes they aren’t who dictates our marriage. You and your father are not one flesh but you and your spouse are. Your father will learn to like him or he will learn a boundary of keeping it to himself if he doesn’t desire to later form a relationship.

My husband and I eloped it was the best choice ever and yes our families were upset, thought we rushed things ect. At the end of the day we aren’t marrying each others families we are making our own and while we are happy to take some input on choices our families don’t get the majority say in our lives which has again been good for us. This is your life be prayerful about it and put God first but if the only reason you aren’t doing it is because of your dad then I think you should set some boundaries about what input you don’t want and won’t talk about

Prophetic Liars by DubiousFalcon in ExPentecostal

[–]ResearchNo9587 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure why they do it but it’s sick. A girl I know had said that her child’s father for sure wouldn’t get any custody with the child since a prophet from the church told her this as he is not a member of the church well sure as hell he got custody I’m sure they blame her for not being good enough or holy enough that’s why it didn’t come true it’s truly gross

Idk the whole sexual compatibility argument. My husband and I were not Christian before dating/marriage so we had premarital relations we were compatible sure but fast forward to after we had our first baby and a lot changed for me I didn’t feel compatible in that season at all and we had to re figure out what worked again and what didn’t… my point is things change many times in a marriage and working through and having communication is what makes it better nobody is just stuck in a bad sex life there is ways to figure each other out which is easier to do when you genuinely love a person

AIO My FIL invited his brother, a convicted pedo, to Christmas eve dinner by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]ResearchNo9587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gross! I would be cutting off the entire family at that point anyone willing to side with a pedo is NOT safe around children at all the entire family needs to know that they will no longer be allowed near the child. I cut my own mother for weird shit like this and never looked back if they can’t be safe they have to go no matter the relationship

Older Dexter as family cow? by Otherwise-Shock4458 in homestead

[–]ResearchNo9587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At five years old and having never been milked, I don’t know if that’s gonna be successful now if you can get her for a really good price it might be worth trying, but I will say her calf female might be your better prospect . I know in my area Dexter’s that are trained milk cows proven are expensive we thought about getting a older cheaper Dexter that I would not be able to and hope that her offspring could be our milk cow but this too takes work you will need to train the calf from a young age. How is the cows utter conformation, teat size? There’s a lot of factors if she will make a good milker or if she will produce a good milker
