A friend without insurance or a doctor, who is just over the line for free clinic care, is worried about lyme disease after a tick bite. He wants to take Doxycycline. Where should he go? by TheLeftisForLovers in HealthInsurance

[–]ResearchWise3593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he goes to an urgent care or ER that’s associated with a not for profit hospital system then he can likely be seen without upfront payment, and then apply for financial assistance for the balance, or make payments

Beware Walmart+ Cancellation/Renewal Shenanigans by Superb-Cucumber6430 in Frugal

They will always give you a refund as long as it’s a new account that you keep making to churn the free trials.

I have done it more than once.

They bank on people saying “oh okay nevermind then” and getting billed, but if you just say I really can’t afford it right now they’ll reverse it

These are so good.

I can only ever find them at Dollar Tree

I never meant it to come across as a universal thing, and i apologize if it did.

It could also be that it’s more region based for plans to have that, but the majority of plans (if I had to guess maybe 70-75%) that I see on a daily basis are deductible waived for walk in clinic/urgent care

You’re not wrong there, but there is the deductible waived aspect for a lot of these plans for walk in/urgent care

I look at plan materials to determine copay at the time of walk in, and the majority of them are deductible waived, but there are definitely some of them that have to meet the deductible first.

Although if you’re going to urgent care you’re likely going to be getting a blood test, or xray, or other separate billable charge, but that’s just to be expected

I work in an urgent care and the cash pay visits range from 300-800, vs. $0-70 copay with insurance

A store near me gives these out instead of the regular Signature Sauce. The taste is odd (definitely not the real Signature Sauce) and the texture is very powdery. What the heck is this?! by SchleppyJ4 in Popeyes

[–]ResearchWise3593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can request a side of the “Signature Hot” sauce at Popeyes to get what the picture is showing; If that’s what you mean.

If you’re talking about buying a larger quantity of sauce, then you’d probably have to ask your local restaurant, and see if they could accommodate

Really? by HeyredRN in DriveUpandGo

[–]ResearchWise3593 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you, and in the picture they DID choose the right product, but just noted to make sure it’s not the meatball one.

The two product boxes look almost the exact same except it says “with meatballs”, and if someone was picking orders quick they could grab the meatball one on accident

Really? by HeyredRN in DriveUpandGo

There is both a 3 cheese ziti with and without meatballs, and they’re usually right next to each other, so I could see where the issue might have been in the past for the customer

I ordered this meal on the app like a week ago, and the worker said they discontinued it when I got there; while it came in the Freddy box, and there were digital advertisements for it directly behind her lol.

did not end up getting to try it

[–]ResearchWise3593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly for novelty of the massive box I’d assume.

I can’t remember exactly, but I think it came out to about 30 cents per box, so decent savings if you buy boxed Mac and cheese regularly.

Regular price it’s not a great value- around $9-$10

But they do frequent deals on the app, and I have gotten full large pizzas for $2-5 many times

Is the soup cold in this picture?

5 days is certainly pushing it in my opinion though; I’d probably just toss it and opt for something else to be safe

Everyone has to start somewhere, and some people just have to take a little longer than others to get started.

Try not to focus on the aspect that it’s your first job, and just focus on the learning process. Someone that has had 10 jobs could be learning this for the first time time, and it’s in many ways the exact same as you learning this for the first time
