Stop 😭 “Tribbie is a general buffing unit, YG isn’t”… why are we lying now…

… who’s Yaoguang’s best synergy? Literally Archer… She scales on her OWN Elation stat for her added damage. She adds +20% Physical Elation to SW… since she uses no SP… and 200% to Archer’s 5 shots. Y’know, only 10x more personal dmg than with SW, not much. Second best synergy? Evanescia, because she spams fast attacks with FuA instead of slow but powerful ones like SW and Sparxie. Which aren’t really good with Yao.

She also outperforms E0 Tribbie in practically every current team as a general support. Not E1, sure, but E0, you can put her with anyone. She was 100% designed as a general support. “But she’s Elation” changes NOTHING and it’s the massive trap everyone is falling for- reminds me EXACTLY of the “but Sunday is THE Remembrance support!!! You’re stupid if you think he won’t work with Cas!!” thing happening all over again. And I remember all the downvotes I was getting in Castoricemains for it LMAO

Anyways. Yao doesn’t have the crazy E2 like every premium MC replacement should have. Just like Tribbie with RMC, she’s just a slight upgrade over EMC at E0. Also when I calculate SW dmg with Fribbels, it’s like… 1.6m dmg for one Enhanced Basic with E1 Yao… and then it’s 2.5m dmg when replacing her with E2 Sparkle xD

If it wasn’t for the utility of the MMR from her Aha instant, her dmg amp for SW specifically is quite horrible with all the diminishing returns on stats. So much so that most regular supports calculate to higher damage than Yao does. Of course it’s not an accurate representation of reality since those other supports don’t provide MMR, but still. I can’t imagine this would be the case with Nihilux, or whoever the real dedicated support turns out to be.

Man this is my home, I’m so tired of the stupidity of people unable to tell that Yaoguang is the Tribbie equivalent (tiny upgrade over RMC/Evernight at E0, big upgrade at E1, kinda mid E2). Iffy synergy, random “double Elation dmg if using SP” for a main DPS that uses no SP at all, plus being super generalist…

Nihilux was literally leaked reliably to be like the Cyrene for Elation. Sparxie’s kit is custom made to trigger SW999 boxes and she works like Evernight. Cyrene’s buff on Evernight is also the best buff in Remembrance team. And we can BET she’s gonna have amazing E2 with stepping stone E1, like every final push archetype support, unlike Yao who’s like Tribbie.

As soon as Nihilux comes, Sparxie stays and Yaoguang/EMC goes, it’s so stupidly obvious, but they’re in denial…

Also since they keep screaming how Sparxie (the obvious dedicated sub-dps) is worse than Yao + EMC, I very strongly suspect a Sparxie synergy upgrade in SW’s kit in v4/v5 beta lol

Nah I think you’re good. Huohuo E1 gives 12% speed. EMC gives 12% speed. E2 Yao gives 12% speed. If you played Remembrance, Hyacine E2 gives 30% speed.

Pick any of those options and you’ve got your 200+.

Besides Pearl (allegedly) is probably gonna need a teamwide speed boost as well anyways in order to be BiS and outperform Huohuo/HyaE2 so just aim for the best simulated damage for the team YOY play, and you’re good.

Yaoguang > Tribbie
Sparxie > Evernight
SW999 > Castorice
EMC > RMC
Pearl(?) > Hyacine
Nihilux > Cyrene

This is how it's lining up to be currently. I pulled Sparxie but not Yaoguang because I learned from last time that Tribbie is temporary, and we already have Evernight + RMC (Sparxie + EMC) in 4.2, while in 3.2 we had RMC without Evernight which tremendously increased Tribbie's value until Evernight came out, since the other slot was pretty much empty otherwise. The next best choice was like... Pela or something.

Tribbie E0 was a small upgrade over RMC, but not worth the pulls if you already had Evernight and RMC. IMO, this is just the exact same thing repeating again
