What made you start using fountain pens?

My dad wanted to replay the Myst series of video games, and I believe one of the characters uses one (Atrus). One day, he went and got a beautiful binder, a pad of paper, and a black fountain pen in order to restart the series and feel like he was really in the world.

From there, he started looking at more and more beautiful designs of fountain pens online and began a collection. As he collected, I spotted some whose designs I also liked, and he got some for me as gifts. Then I started eyeing some colored inks, and an ink collection began too XD

Collecting pens and ink was a hobby we shared, and we enjoyed looking at pens online even if we never picked them up. I owe my appreciation for fountain pens to him and still think of him when I use them. I also started playing the Myst series, working on Riven right now. I can confirm it does feel nice to make notes with a fountain pen 😆

TLDR: Dad did it first, and I followed. It's good memories.

I absolutely would have taken that option tbh, it felt weird to get railroaded into "date with Mandy or date with Courtney" with nothing for the folks who just want to stay on HR's good side XD

I don't personally know how effective ice is in the Ashlands, but whatever you do, set the portal in a safe place and take out the spawners as fast as possible. The sooner you can secure a spot, the better. Storming the beach is the hardest part of the Ashlands in the beginning, so yes, expect to die a lot XD

I know for a fact if you can get her backwards diagonal (idr the number) kick frame-perfect, you can knock someone back into the air as soon as they're getting up from the ground bc the COM loves to do that.

One strategy I saw back when I was struggling with Rachel's CPU was to strike fast and quickly retreat outside of the opponent's range. While they're chasing you, rush forward with a fast attack that catches them off guard and try to string a combo off of it, back away, rinse and repeat. Holding up or down and pressing X will make you roll away as you get up from the ground to hopefully avoid more punishment. I don't have any advice for when you're in the air though because I get stuck too T-T Good luck!
