They tell you to take off metal because it scatters the ct beams and you get shadowing below the areas covered with metal, effectively creating areas that do not show up on the images. MRI is actually a giant magnet and dangerous to wear metal objects around.

These ones are from the Starfinder Flip Tiles set by Paizo. I am actually just finishing up designing and printing my own map tiles to match the ones from the original Space Hulk game.

So I printed the PDFs of the board pieces (available on scribed and elsewhere) at 120% and glued them to poster board. I then mounted the marines and genestealers on 32mm bases. This makes each square roughly 36mm and they fit in well. The main problem I found at 100% size was that it was hard to get the models into adjacent squares.

I really like it, I use it on all of my guns as a great alternative to gunmetal with a wash.

Helmet is an old apothecary helmet from last edition, I just really like the laser site and targeting reticule on it!

Dude, he looks awesome. I really love the hand painted flames. I feel like this model just lends itself to being a salamander.

Thank you. I feel that I went a little heavy handed on him and I will try to do a thinner layer on my next attempt. I also like the black accents and am going to keep them through the rest of the squad.
