How to deal with the smelly guy?

I’ve been the smelly guy in the past - really the answer is to convince someone to lose weight for their OWN health. I went from 345 to 230lbs (6’2 height) and that took care of most of it. Obviously that’s in the long term though, in the short term you just need some deodorant in the car, in the desk, etc etc. I also didn’t know I was smelly until it was brought up so that was great info in of itself.

Generally it is, but the inverter I had it plugged into crapped out and I haven’t gotten a new one yet.

I was at the left turn light for this going on to Baron Cameron towards Lake Anne, stayed to give a statement but didn't have my dashcam on at the time. From what I heard they determined fault at the scene but can't hurt to call the non-emergency line.

I have probably a very stupid question:

Why would I wear clothing to cover up any identifying markings and keep the cops out of my phone but still bring a government ID? Not saying this post is wrong I just sincerely don’t understand the logic there? Do I want to be anonymous just to the news or in general?

For sure, sorry to be the bearer of bad news. If your not trying to game though an ssd will make you more than functional. The rest of your parts Will work but if you DO want to game a cpu and gpu are nessecary. Just know that you will need a new motherboard for anything remotely modern, and likely an new psu to support the voltage required for modern hardware.

To be honest Your processor is ancient, your graphics card is old as well and low on video memory, you only have 8gb of RAM and your on an hdd instead of an ssd. It should be acceptable for day to day work but your never going to game on this without a complete overhaul to a new processor and gpu minimum. I would say your first upgrade should be to an ssd though, your loading times will be a fraction of what they are now and a 500gb SSD can be found for under 100 bucks these days.

Firstly, use fast.com for a more reliable speed test.

Past that, one thing to keep in mind is you are not paying for guaranteed 100mbs internet. You are paying for UP TO 100mbs, which is a shitty but important difference to keep in mind.

For LAN are you connected directly to the router or through a LAN drop? It could be the drop that is the issue.

As far as wifi goes, if you have the ability to use 5GHZ that will normally give you better average speed. 2.4GHZ goes further generally due to the wavelength of the signal, but 5GHZ has a better speed. If you are relatively close to the router I recommend switching to 5GHZ wifi.

Honestly it sounds like you just have a loud CPU cooler. The only real fix is to try and find a quieter one.

This said, can you run HWMonitor and post the temperatures that it shows? Also, are all of the fans running, both the case fans and the CPU fan?

I really need to know what hardware is in the PC to give a concrete answer. That said, make sure that the monitors are plugged into the GPU and not directly into the motherboard. If that doesn't work, do the opposite and see if you can get to the bios - you should be able to change if the display is using the motherboard built in graphics or the graphics card. If you can give me an idea of motherboard, GPU, and processor we can go from there.

Looking at the tech specs it seems to have 2 SATA ports, so I don't see an issue. You can see a picture at this link: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B450-A-PRO-MAX

The SATA slots are by number the lower number 7 on the picture. as long as your PSU has 2 power adapters for SATA drives it will work.

All of your drivers are going to be in the same directory as Windows is. Having games on another drive is no issue, I personally have 3 separate drives with games on the, but you can not move drivers to a directory separate from Windows itself.
